Relative to the tweet, to be clear, filing a Motion is hardly the same as the Court granting the motion!

In Aug 2019, FD also motioned for the court to order Gloria Farber to have a psychological evaluation, claiming, in part, that Farber has been hospitalized in the past. There's no evidence that such a Motion was granted and Mrs. Farber was granted custody of the Dulos children ever since FD disappeared Jennifer.

NEW CANAAN, CT — In the ongoing child custody battle between Fotis Dulos and Gloria Farber, the mother of missing New Canaan mom Jennifer Farber Dulos, a new court filing calls into question Farber's mental capacity.

The Aug. 29 filing by Fotis Dulos' attorney in the matter, Richard Rochlin, seeks a court-ordered psychological evaluation of Farber, claiming, in part, that Farber has been hospitalized in the past.

Additionally, the filing also hints that she is possibly being manipulated by attorneys in the legal fight against Fotis Dulos.

"Upon information and belief, Ms. Farber has previously been psychiatrically hospitalized and had threatened to kill herself and her late husband," the filing reads. "Electric shock therapy was discussed as an option amongst the family, including Mr. Dulos. This troubling history of mental illness needs to be assessed to ensure that the children can be safely cared for by Ms. Farber. This evaluation can also assess Ms. Farber's susceptibility to coercion by her daughter's lawyers concerning a continued strategy of complete and total war against Mr. Dulos, the father of her grandchildren - a strategy that has previously only served Jennifer's lawyers and nobody else."

Farber has been granted temporary custody of the five Dulos children, and she is seeking sole custody.
That guy (FD) was Machiavellian.

You’re right, of course-and now we all know which one is the unstable, mentally ill monster in all of this-not GF, not JFD-it’s Fotis!

“Rode hard and put away wet”, has always been my image of her.
I honestly hate to use that phrase for any woman, but MT prides herself on exercise of sexual power; she used it with FD to worm her way into a life that was supposed to be JFD's, but she also used it to manipulate investigators when they were questioning her (when she described showering with FD and having sex with him against PG's truck when PG arrived at 80 MS Rd to collect his truck after work).

It’s not a favorite expression of mine, either-but it does seem to suit MT, who allows herself to be used that way, by an assortment of perhaps not-so-nice men. She is really “icky”. Trying to distract those detectives by repeatedly referring to the sex she claimed to have engaged in with Fotis is creepy-and the fact that she thought she would be successful in doing so, shows the kind of people that she is accustomed to surrounding herself with. Also shows the typical way that she would use to get herself out of trouble. It was obvious to me, as soon as she began to speak to the detectives about it. A normal woman might have said that she saw Fotis that morning and they had breakfast together, or something like that. Most would not have said “we had sex in the shower”, even if they had. A normal woman certainly wouldn’t have said it if they had not. There is something especially gross about her. Why would she think she is so appealing, anyway, to these detectives?

9/7/23 Update (Summary): There are many other outstanding motions, including those to suppress evidence gathered through cellphone towers, electronic devices & DNA samples. Judge Randolph previously has said that he anticipates ruling this month on the remaining motions. The hearings on Schoenhorn’s motions are expected to continue Friday, 9/8/23 at the state Superior Court in Stamford. During this time, they also may finish arguments for the motion to change the venue of a potential trial. Judge Randolph, who will hear arguments next week on a change in venue in the case, said he does not expect to render decisions until early September. Yesterday witness was attorney Jacob Pyetranker.
9/8/23 Update: When it comes to the cell tower data, Schoenhorn argues that it should be suppressed. He especially wants all AT&T data to be inadmissible since that’s Troconis’s carrier. He believes that evidence is also “overly broad”. “When the police are trying to investigate a disappearance, sure, they’re entitled to get whatever data they can through the issuance of a search warrant. But you can’t use a wet sponge for the bullseye when a dart with a pinpoint will suffice,” Schoenhorn said. The judge ruled that the warrant was not overly broad, but Schoenhorn is arguing now that the search warrant was improperly executed. Next hearing on 9/13/23.
*Kent D. Mawhinney (54/now 58) – Murder: Judge John F. Blawie put the case on the trial docket. Hearing on 5/15/22.
2/23/22: Plead guilty to a charge of violating a protective order that stemmed from an incident involving his ex-wife. Sentenced for violation & assault on 6/17/22 was given a 5 year suspended prison sentence & 3 years of probation on a domestic violence charge.
*Fotis Dulos (52) – Committed suicide on 1/28/20 & declared dead at 5:32pm on 1/30/20. 3/3/20: Charges dismissed. The case against Dulos will be officially dismissed in about a year, unless the state decides to reopen it. 1/17/22: After debt, no money left in Dulos estate for children. While Fotis Dulos’ estate has $395,687 in assets, it owes $548,280.75 in expenses, according to Farmington Probate Court records. Attorney Christopher Hug will be paid $189,525 for settling the estate & attorney Paul Knierim, who represented Hug, will receive $98,326, court documents show."

JUST IN: Michelle Troconis’ attorney filed a motion for a speedy trial today, which the judge has granted. He’s set jury selection for Oct. 4.

We should know where jury selection will occur later today. The judge says he intends to file his ruling on defense’s motion for change of venue. Jon Schoenhorn wants the case moved from Stamford to Hartford due to pre-trial publicity.

What's their angle? There's always an angle with these people.

Was just coming here to ask the same question. That's just 3 weeks away.

What's up...and why did the judge accept. Is the prosecution agreeable?
I imagine that the state is ready, or they may have objected, I think. At least it’s going to happen in Stamford, so he lost this motion. But it’s not over yet…

To clarify my thinking...Has the judge ruled on whether the search warrant was correctly enacted at 4 JX?

So, the judge rejected the motion to move the trial and that the warrant was overly broad. Anything else I'm missing from this 3-day series of hearings?

Sorry-yes, he ruled against JS regarding the venue. I don’t know about the evidence.
