I don't know, but think it likely that (assuming LA's memory was serving her accurately in her testimony about seeing FL plates) FD may have purchased the vehicle and registered it in FL (perhaps for his use while frequently visiting "to waterski" and leaving it for MT to drive when he wasn't visiting). And then when MT came north to CT, the Jeep came with her and was subsequently registered in CT and remained generally for her use.

Also, I feel bad constantly referring to him as "the judge," so for the record, his name is Kevin Randolph. Also, not surprised to learn he is a former radio journalist because that voice is beautiful.

Not sure of the year of the Jeep but pretty certain I heard recently that the Jeep was purchased in Miami. So my guess is he bought it for her and she drove up to CT in it. 2016? 2017?

I also remember it being mentioned that he bought a car in Miami. I think it was in LA’s testimony about when they were on a family trip to Miami and JF had left with the youngest child and LA remained with the other four children.

Did you watch the Troconis Familia commentary? We’ve moved from not acknowledging that JF exists, to JF is missing to the current view that this is a tragedy for all involved and, “….the other family….”.

I still think a gag order is called for to stop

Noted a small rectangular cardboard box with EMTEK printed on it sitting on far left side on brown Kraft paper (where contents of Jeep were spread out and photographed). Just noting as at least one key on the key ring found in the Albany Ave garbage bin was EMTEK.
