You can always hope for the best possible outcome.

Hope is a feeling, though.

Feelings aren't facts.

Fact: There was blood found in the home.
LE has said this is a criminal investigation.

Sadly, JD isn't hiding.
She didn't disappear herself.

She was hidden by whoever harmed her.

JMO.
Does anyone have the gut feeling of a kidnapping gone wrong? Those door to door searches in Hartford were about something IMO. Where better to hide someone than in the neighborhood the police don't frequent. Something just feels strange about what we have been watching all week. I understand that feelings aren't facts and blood was found. But there could have been a number of different scenarios to explain the blood that could include and exclude murder IMO. I'm honestly still puzzled by the little we know.

It doesn't make much sense. She's under 65 and I haven't read about any reason that she would be mentally impaired. She doesn't seem to fit the "silver alert" category.
In the divorce documents FD accused her of taking 'pychotic' and
anti-anxiety drugs which he believed made her an unfit parent.
That's the only suggestion I've seen of her being mentally impaired. It's the old story of him trying to make her appear
'crazy'.

Yes, she doesn't fit the technical alert guidelines but CT has used this system when there really arent any other ways to blast out information on a missing person (they could have stretched the definitions too to say she was suffering from depression or anxiety and as such was truly at risk IDK but I'm glad they issued the alert the way they did. Sadly adult missing persons aren't well served by any of the existing alert systems that are in place IMO.

You mean the old 'gas lighting' ploy? From the court documents he seems to have mastered this technique.

I agree that the blood could’ve been found and for a number of different reasons, other than violent crime.

However, it’s been reported a number times that other evidence of foul play was found inside Jennifer’s home.

Interesting. I hadn't read of anything else other than blood (we don't know whose yet) and nothing from the cell phone or credit cards. What other evidence was found in the house?

No. I think this was a man who found a rich, unmarried woman, he emptied her pockets, loaded her up with babies and tried to run off with the money. Then it got messy.

It depends on how much blood was found. A nose bleed doesn't count.

I am familiar with the area. That's why I questioned Hartford. The hit was in New Canaan, not Farmington.
It was suggested back earlier that North Hartford is a pretty seedy
part of town and that maybe FD had tradesmen like concrete workers or carpenters as day laborers who may have worked on his properties and if he hired a hitman, this could be where he may
have found a perp to do his dirty work. All speculation.
But it seems LE has some evidence leading them to the search
in North Hartford.
My guess is that cell phone data and gps data led them to this area.
And also maybe some local video cameras showing some nefarious
activity there. MOO.

Farmington = where Jennifer and FD lived as a married couple. Where FD still lives.

New Canaan = where Jennifer and kids rented a home. This is where the blood was found.

Waveny Park = in New Canaan and where Jennifer's car was found.

Hartford = where police were investigating in sewer and in neighborhood today, 5/31

Pound Ridge, NY = Jennifer's family owns a home there. About 8 miles from Jennifer's New Canaan home. There has been police activity there.

NYC = where Jennifer's mother lives. (Jennifer's father is deceased)

(If I made any mistakes, please correct!)

Oh how well I know that “old story”!
I experienced it in my own divorce!

Not only was I accused of threatening my ex so he could obtain the restraining order.... I was also accused of being “crazy” and should be taken to the psych facility where I worked as a charge nurse!

Anything is possible, but this scenario has played out many times before.

Contentious divorce, woman disappears or is murdered.

Even excluding the blood, the circumstances just reek of foul play.

Factor in the dumped vehicle, blood, and an effort to clean up; that points to a perpetrator that is very close to home.

ETA: This person just had to know her schedule, and likely had a way to access her house.
