EW that is just terrible that a mom would catch and toss these momentos and act like it's a big game. sick.

Ok I have realized something that I can't explain- if she planned to do this (even just minutes before) why in the heck would she keep the knife (her own) in the house? why wouldn't she have dropped the murder weapon when she dropped the sock yards away. If any "planting" of evidence were to be done it sure would have been the murder weapon rather than a sock you would think. OR if not dropping it down the storm drain why not hide it or wash it off and put it back in the butcher block-I mean if she was really trying to stage the scene to cover her own hind end. Just doesn't make sense for her to say- I picked up the knife and voila here it is still in my kitchen after I did it. I don't know about that??????????????????????
Because leaving the knife at the scene was dramatic and the whole scene was meant to be dramatic and bold. Besides she had to explain her fingerprints on the knife. How could she do that if she dumped it down the alley? Of course, the knife handle was made out of something that fingerprints didn't adhere to, but she had no way of knowing that then. In short, they used a knife from the house because it was easy to explain and dropped the sock in the alley either accidentally or to mislead authorities. Personally I think the sock was an accident. I suspect its mate and maybe Darin's shirt went down the sewer there and somehow that sock just fell by the wayside. That is why he got so angry when he found out police had found it and not told them.

Mary, correct me if I am wrong on this but I thought it was later found out to be Darlie's sister in this little scene.:woohoo:
I think Darin testified that it was Dana and we all know how truthful he was on the stand. All you have to do is read his two testimonies to impeach him.

Nelda Watts, the witness who saw them to do it, stated that it was Darlie and Darin. Besides, why would we believe it was Dana. Seems totally out of character for her. She was not jumping around at the silly string party and the nurses said they had to console her for most of that first day because she was so distraught over the murders. That just doesn't sound like someone who would be playing basketball with toys and trinkets from the dying wreaths. If I have to choose which story seems most probable, I have to go with it being Darlie out there with Darin probably thumbing their nose at their critics or celebrating some newfound benefit the public was not aware of at the time.

OK, so she just wanted to "look pretty" on the silly string video. My point is that, even as a fence sitter, it is bizarre to me that a grieving mother would even CARE whether or not she looked pretty to other people days after her little boys were brutally killed. I can't understand that. Like I said, TO ME-I would not care whether or not I looked pretty. I just wouldn't care. I would probably take me days and days before I could even manage a shower--the devastation would cripple me.
What I meant was she wanted to look pretty on a regular basis not at the silly string party, no make-up or hairdo.

Alleged new evidence. They found Darin's blood on Darlie's nightshirt.

What do you make of it?

Considering Darin was stripped, examined and photograhped in the hospital directly after the murders and there's been no mention that he was cut and bleeding, my opinion is.....if his blood was found on Darlie's nightshirt..then it got there prior to June 6/96.

where in the world did you find this 'new evidence' information???
I'd like to know the answer to that too. lol I've looked all over the net and haven't found anything about this yet...not saying it's not true tho.

I'm curious too where this news came from?? Not that I don't believe, I'm just anxious to hear about anything new!

It came from a Darlie supporter on my yahoo group.

Unless it came from being bopped in the nose.....during a "what the hell have you done" fight....

There's no evidence Darin was bleeding from the nose or anywhere. Would neatnik Darlie have gone to bed (cough, cough) wearing a blood stained nightshirt?

Makes one wonder why she chose stabbing. Pretty messy. But, then, if it was in a fit of "snapping", she probably didn't think it would be that bad.
It's not like in the movies.

I can only see the self-centered, self-loving neatnik Darlie ever going to bed with a blood stained nightshirt if it helped her in some way point evidence toward another. Never, never would she sleep in a blood stained shirt but she certainly would if it would clear her name.

Just wondering if CAMI is short for something?
<another Kami, just curious>;)

Actually it was my son's dog's name and it was spelled Kami. I changed it to the C when I chose it as a username

I think that makes perfect sense. What doesn't make any sense is why an intruder would break into a house with the sole intention of murdering Darlie and not brining his own or their own weapon along. She's claimed all along that SHE was the reason that the intruder came into the house. That SHE was the target. That SHE was attacked first. Why take the risk of going in there for that "sole" reason and not be armed?
it actually happens quite often.

That she even considered her looks during that time period is inconceivable.
different people act differently about lifes mishaps or crimes so you cant say how a person should act unless you walked a few miles in there shoes.not being funny but you cant really tell how you would react in different situations.

A1- have you ever in your life, on tv, in real life or otherwise EVER seen anyone At ALL laugh at someone's funeral for their own child?
