Viewing the video, the POI appears to be wearing the same type of shoes a chef or food service worker would wear... The black heavy soled grease resistant chef shoes... The POI strikes me as male but that's probably because his/her body shape and way he/she walks reminds me of a Pacific Islander ex boyfriend of mine- he was built similarly and had a 'pretty' face that made him appear less masculine. (Think Bruno Mars)

With all due respect, many of your posts keep trying to solidify that David was a happily married, straight man. While I understand you are passionate about that, we mustn't look through blinders or run the risk of "tunnel vision".

It's unfair to discount someone as a troll just because it goes against a particular theory.

This threads frustrating because people have these theories and this need to defend or "prove" them. Just be a bit open minded is my plea.

Debunk my deconstruction of the article that is the basis for my position and I'm all ears.

I think most people have presented some pretty good theories and ideas. I am, however, disappointed in so many being close-minded to any theory that doesn't perfectly align to their own. Some people have been downright tacky to others on here.

From my perspective, watching the video and the loose interaction between the two people similarly attired in the video....I have no doubt in my mind they are a well orchestrated hit team. These are no amateurs; this was a well planned and well carried out maneuver. Doesn't look like the first time they have "worked" together.

Now as to the why....my two best guesses are that he owed someone $, or had stepped on someone's turf. Just by the visuals of the two "hit men", I'm going to vote for this being punishment for an overdue payment. A big one. This looks far too professional for some sex game gone bad. This was too well orchestrated. What is throwing me off is that the Perp knows the cameras are there and doesn't seem to care much.

My guess will be validated if it is discovered that the decedent had financial problems, or large unexplained outlays of cash/payments.

There is someone dressed in all black by the entrance to the building. You see this person when the POi is waiting for the elevator and is pacing around.

Ruminating on this case....how on earth could a purportedly upper scale hotel not know they had two suspicious looking characters lurking about? Hard to believe that, and easier to believe someone inside looked the other way.

Any upscale hotel I have stayed at really eyeballs people coming and going, let alone a lurking duo.

If you look at the moment when the POI leans against the wall and takes a look around the corner, closest to the camera, you'll see the black clad
person by at the other end of the hall, looking at the area toward the stairwell. He does seem like a look out, as such, or somehow coordinated, kind of the way a creepy white guy did in another case, but much more so. The closest shot of the second person in the hall is enlarged below, the moment the black clad person first appears over the POI's shoulder, plus some more angles on the POI. The face seems completely covered, but LE must have better video of that person.

Why would anyone wear snow gear and shined shoes? Those shoes seem so new, the way they shine, front, back, sides and center at various times, look like unworn heals, look heavy soled. I wonder where are shoes now? MSM report POI walked out of the hotel in the same outfit. Anyone remember some awkward dude in snow gear and shiny shoes Mon, Feb 9, 15 in the 1100 block of 14th Street, NW area? Forget remember, security cams may have caught those shoes getting around in that part of town. ugh, shoes again.

Yes, Find HG, but the creepy WG in HG's case came forward. I just doubt two people would take such a chance. Motive is still up in the air, and I believe it will be revealed via electronic means. But, I totally see what you are seeing, and anything is possible after this much time.

Can't stand still, pumped, is my impression too, and just the range of expressions in the video (not a poker face), seems distracted by their own thoughts, not thinking ahead, as in about the stairwell camera, or even to just head for the stairs when elevator doesn't work. What I don't understand about the possible doorman, why wouldn't he have told the POI the elevator isn't working? Why was he waiting, facing the POI, while the POI hit the button again? Could he have told the POI about the stairs at that point, being a doorman? Why would the POI do something as cagey as peer around a corner within sight of a doorman? So far LE has only released information about POI "1". Hopefully LE has spoken to the other person in the hall who may have gotten a good look at the POI, at least.

IMO The POI is dressed appropriately for DC in February. As for anyone noticing him lurking around, the entrance does not appear to be the main entrance, IMO. You would expect to see more people around dinner time walking in/out of a hotel.

I know there were a few escorts on the DC review board saying they wouldn't stay there due to poor security. Might give us a clue to the atmosphere.

When I looked on Craigslist/DC there were so many ads for a "hook-up" in just one day it was unbelievable. Many were being "hosted" in hotel rooms around the city. I saw some that said something like "just come in, the door will be unlocked and I will be ready". Now I don't know if someone can leave a hotel door unlocked and ready like that, but it shows how easily a person can become a victim.
