For all we know, the victim's wife could have known about his extracurricular offsite meetings and chose to turn a blind eye. For that matter, they might have even had a don't ask/don't tell policy. We don't know. So we can't assume he was cheating on her. Perhaps she knew and sanctioned it. Not something I would tolerate, but that's between them, or was.

Or...was letting a co-conspirator know that the job was finished. I'm not convinced that she acted alone and not under the direction of someone else.
Stay tuned...
There'd be no reason to have a 9 minute phone call with a coconspirator since a coconspirator would have been nearby. ;)

It's what I've always maintained. The twist is that not in a million years did I think it was a young woman posing as a young man

No kidding!!!! I betcha this one gets made in to a movie, no joke. Toowild.

He had finger cuffs on... he was in a very vulnerable position, hardly able to mount an offensive attack. imo

I don't think it was a confession, more of a report back to a <modsnip>.

Don't anyone be limited to the male of the species whenever homosexual/bisexuality is mentioned in this case. JG has been outed by media twitter link ^^.
Outed? She wasn't hiding in a closet. She was living openly.

Crow is NOT on the plate IMO. There's more arrests to be made IMO.
So many people were wrong about who the killer was. No reason to stop being wrong now, huh?

LE would already know if there was communication between DM's wife and the suspect.

Sometimes things are just as they appear. It's time to drop the whole wife did it theory.

I'll give you that, and admit that could very well be true. I'm just not a fan of infidelity and especially seedy hookups on the side. Whether she knew and/or condoned it or not, these actions made her a victim as well. I'll be totally honest here...while I feel bad that he paid for his mistakes with his life, I feel a bit less sympathy for him than I would if he'd just been an innocent victim. Right or wrong, that's how I feel. I'm having the same feelings in the Tammy Meyers case.

And so many people were wrong about it being a male, too, you included.

Also, her roommate who was also a co-defendant in the past court case with her landlord, surname is Johnson too.

Good catch! She was desperate for money it seems. I agree with the first paragraph of your post before this, that he did initiate this via CL and was prepared to see someone. But I don't think she ever intended to have sex or play sex games. They did get as far as putting those ties on his hands, so he must have gone along with things up to a point...
And yes, I would very much like to know who she called afterwards. Her gf?

In that world, it happens daily. I've known of transgender "escorts" trying to pass off as female and in return they've gotten roughed up by unsuspecting men.

I dunno. Perhaps and especially if this was her first murder, she may have been rattled enough that a co-conspirator had to calm her down. Maybe co-conspirator couldn't be seen with her at that point, or was at a job, etc. Maybe she was communicating that the job was done and they were discussing the next steps for the killer to take. I can see plenty of reasons for that phone call.

I'm still stuck on the "makeshift handcuffs"...all new to me! But I don't think she came storming in and killed him the minute he turned his back. I guess it really doesn't matter. Another thought - since he and his wife were together so long, is it possible she didn't have any idea he leaned this way? I can't imagine her pain if she didn't have a clue.

Exaclty, because this awful woman killed David, nobody else need be judged, certainly not the tenor of their marriage, as David's widow is not being looked into at all, by LE. That means she has been cleared.

A co conspirator in what way? I know we saw another figure by the front doors, but now I ask why would they be there? From her security training, she would have been trained to have a back-up, not go alone.

She has had over a month to "work" on her story. It does not appear to me she concocted one too believable!

I just searched "finger cuffs" (I had no clue).

"These are the perfect complement to your self defense toolkit. You can keep a set of thumbcuffs handy to subdue a perpetrator without having some bulky handcuffs to deal with. "

* I realize she just used bright-color lil zip ties.

** Oh Lord, I just found another "different" definition :blushing:
