Way back when I saw and mentioned the "carrot note" I just got the feeling that the (Mom) in quotes was telling...to me it could have implied a distance between her and Teresa..otherwise you just sign it Mom. And if you had a really close relationship like MS is trying to say in these DCF hearings...you would sign it Love, Mom. I'm not buying the whole close relationship thing...BS was asked several times on the stand...how much time she spent with the girls before prior to TS death...and each time it sounded sketchy and vague. Let's see the family photos of all those get togethers with BS..TS and the girls prior to her passing. JMO

short post-custody hearing interview with Mummert

Mummert: "He's not here because of his parenting abilities, he's here because he's in custody." Like the two things aren't related? Talk about compartmentalization. To anyone with eyes (or not paid to be blind), his parenting abilities are obviously in question.

I don't like BS. I didn't like her within 10 minutes of watching her first police interview. But I bit my tongue and kept quiet for a long time.

This woman does not give straight answers when under oath in a courtroom. She does not come across as sincere. Instead of answering the question she goes into her "pleasant, blathering older lady" persona. Which clearly is an act - one that she seems to turn on and off given the situation. She did the same thing in her LE interviews.

Obviously, I don't know what the true story is with this older "confused-about-her-sexuality-long-enough-to-have-four-or-five-kids" woman. I also don't think we yet have enough info about her relationship with son Mark to have a good handle on it yet. But what we are seeing in the courtroom during this hearing is certainly giving some clues. And not just to us, but to the Judge also.

It is just so obvious that in the time frame shortly after TS's death, BS wanted nothing to do with having any custody of these children. But now, all of a sudden, she does? I do NOT feel she is coming across as being convincing on the witness stand in this matter.

I think the Judge is going to conduct a full and fair hearing on every issue. Letters, telephone calls, everything. Just to get it into the record. But I think the opinions of the DCF people and the GAL will be granted more weight than the children themselves, than MS, than BS or even MAG. As "smart" as MS or BS think they are, this is not the first rodeo for this Judge, the GAL, or the DCF people.

Same here. Out of all the people interviewed, I bet she was the only one taking notes. Notes that were clearly taken for Mark's benefit and almost surely at Mark's behest.

Does anyone else keep assuming BS means bull $#!+ instead of Bonnie. Maybe because MS and BS are so full of it. Sorry, but it's slightly distracting for me.

I noticed too that she was the only one writing. :moo:

Most of the others... They just used their phone to record it (as I saw on tape..they used phone vs. writing at the time... e.g. TS sister.)
:moo:

I do the same thing when I go to the doctor's office. I use my phone to record vs. writing it down.

So much easier not writing and instead.. just pushing a button on a phone to record as I saw in another interview :moo:

Never thought about using a phone, or noticed the other interviewees doing it, so I guess BS's note-taking was less suspicious than I thought. Actually a good idea, I suppose, given the documented willingness of some LE agencies to skew interview summaries to their preconceptions.

I wasn't home yesterday and won't be home the 16th... Thank goodness for all of you Websleuthers indefatigable coverage of every aspect of this case!

I've read everything here and watched the videos twice. Those calls will tell us so much about Mark's manipulation of the girls... and possibly his mother. I am very sure that a great number of the questions asked of BS have already been been based on those tapes.

If so, BS could well be off the DCFS list forever. This will be because she mis-led the judge about Mark's influencing the girls. I'm sure they were well indoctrinated all those months they lived alone with MS prior to his arrest and he is continuing the brain-washing over the phone and in his letters.

As for MS, he COULD lose all communication with the girls or only have limited contact with them.

I'm trying to convince myself that Tuesday is not far away!
Very well said!!!

Never occurred to me before watching her testify. Since then I've thought, "Wow! What a fitting acronym for her."

Sorry, but I believe BS's testimony at Wednesday's hearing was full of BS.

Isn't it something, the more she talks the more she puts herself there, and the first 2 interviews, I went back and watched them over again from the first time months ago, and if you REALLY pay attention to the men interviewing her, you can feel something different than the first time you watched it? I feel the second interviewer had her number, more so than the first, he really concentrates on that 2 hour window, and gives her NO sympathy to her little dramatic sentences, none at all. She says something like " oh, you mean they could have been there while I was there, no reaction from interviewer.
The first one she got a few sympathetic replies, like, don't blame yourself. Watching it again since she got up on the stand, really, made it crystal clear, and sealed it for me for bs being the gate watcher.

Not directed only at you but the many who have found BS' note taking odd. I always take a note pad to a meeting and would definitely take one to a meeting with the police about the murder of a family member. It just makes sense. What if they ask for you to get back to them with a list of things? I'm not defending BS at all. I find her behavior questionable as well. But note taking is a professional, organized and conscientious thing to do. I would never even begin to consider recording an interview with police. That to me seems a little disrespectful. I'd probably be a little ticked off if someone I was interviewing chose to just record it on a phone rather than take NOTES. The cell phone generation not bringing a note pad to a meeting drives me nuts, and I'm not that old. I just wasn't born with a cell phone in one hand and a silver spoon in the other. LOL and JMO, of course.

and really? would Teresa ever leave her fur babies without enough carrots? What did bs do feed them the whole bag in her 15 minute stay , feed, play, look for the cat, ect?
Remind me to never get someone like her to sit for my pets when I can't bring them along. I couldn't stand her from day 1, that's why I brought her up again, because of what I wrote in #804.
Every time, I look back at my reply to you it looks like I'm calling you "slime." Sorry that I mentioned that.

THORPEDO (luv the name, I think:blushing:) This is the joy of WS, the exchange of diversified views and opinions. Just wondering IF her "note taking is a professional, organized and conscientious thing to do".........Why did she decide they were not necessary for the second interview?....only 24 hours later??? She did remember to wear a sweater....as I remember her comments from the first interview about it being so cold in the room.
I also remembered that most of her "note taking" was right after a question was asked? Is it possible someone like CWW (her house guest at the time) told her to make a list of the questions asked by investigators? I keep wondering about that, especially since he "cornered TaySho" and wanted to know all the questions investigators asked her, too.
