Interesting way to minimise here (IMO):
She continues: "I dropped everything I was doing, and I went to see what my friend needed. And that's when I learned she had been served with the divorce papers, there was a restraining order and a story about a murder-for-hire or something. So, it was clear that she was very distraught."

a murder for hire or something

So in all her conversations in the backyard Terri never told her if she was being suspected of a murder for hire or something?

Good Mornin' back atcha! :)

Nope, not at all.

Just that in that previous post, you "quoted" Terri as saying it. It's a Tony quote, technically. He did indeed say "we" in the quote, and in context, Tony was certainly speaking for all four parents, including Terri.

So, I was thinking you must have meant exactly what you've just said this quoted post - that Tony spoke those words, but he spoke for all 4.

I just figured you typo'ed "Teri" when you meant to "Tony" while quoting... but I see what you're saying now...

And that's all. :) Nothing else. At the moment. anyone?

Actually, I copied from a copy of the written statement that Tony read out loud. I wasn't thinking in terms of quotes of Tony or anyone, since it was a written statement he was reading on behalf of a group of people, rather than his own words.

Here's my post you're referring to. No quotemarks. No quotes. You misunderstood.

On Day 7, Terri said she missed Kyron, she loved Kyron, and she wanted and needed him home.

Kyron – we miss you. We love you. We want and need you home.

Dede has no job, her house is on the market and now she has an added bill ... Attorney fee.

How much would People mag pay for an interview with a High Profile case?

Dede gets immunity, no jail time. Has money from interview, pays off her bills, gets new place to live.

Worked out well for her.

She hasn't gotten immunity yet, and if LE is smart, they won't offer it to her.

And I wonder if Dede isn't intentionally giving different details, such as 4 different times and scenarios about her working that day at the garden. That would be another benefit - confusing the heck out of everyone. moo

And himself. I assume.

Maybe....or just himself and Desiree and Terri but not Kaine....or, just himself and Terri and Kaine....or everyone but Terri....etc., etc. Every word being uttered by anyone is being sliced and diced....so, why not Tony, I guess.

Is anyone else having a difficult time submitting questions and moving around the board this morning? I'm beginning to feel very impatient. moo

This is more from the People interview with Dede:

The pair also assumed they were under surveillance. "Any conversations that we wanted to have, we'd go out into the yard," Spicher says. "When we were in the house, we'd talk about the kids, we'd talk about her marriage, talked about her family."

So what is it they talked about in the yard?

Thanks for pointing this out Steadfast...

The phrase about conversations that we wanted to have vs. talking about kids, family, etc. is hinky to me.

Wouldn't they want to have any conversation they happened to have during DD's stay?

I understand wanting privacy for anything you want to discuss...so why the distinction? Just makes it seem as though the conversations in the house were staged for the microphones.

Yes!! I reply, impatiently....:banghead:

also interesting that they would talk about how much she missed the kids inside the house (where they assumed it was bugged) and went outside to talk about other things.

good job DDS... I am understanding you more now ~wink~

This sort of thing may be why Houze is telling TH to stay clear of the reporters. Whyever would DS tell the People magazine that?

Perzactly!! Why give this interview at all? Who stayed with TH after this dear friend left? Mind boggling ain't it,lol

Does anyone else think that the sitting in the yard talking contradicts the deadly fear for their lives just the tiniest little bit?

I mean, if they're so terrified that A Big Bad Man is out to get Terri's life and maybe Dede's too, why would they choose to sit in the yard of a very sheltered property engrossed in conversations making themselves the perfect targets for The Big Bad Man who might lurk in the woods with a rifle or something? Why not live at Dede's, maybe The Big Bad Man wouldn't know her address?

ETA: it could be A Tiny Woman too, I don't know.

I picture DeDe with a fire extinguisher in a holster.
