Jesse G.'s depo was canceled because Baez never served the subpoena. R. Grund was served a subpoena and asked to be rescheduled because of Sabbath preparation on Wednesday and ask that it be rescheduled for Thursday or Friday before sundown - this is from Cobra speaking on Blogger News Blog Talk radio.

I can't believe Jesse Grund was not served a supoena!:waitasec:

Doh! I thought you were gonna do it, no boss, I thought you were gonna do it, no, I told you to do it...but you said you were gonna do it..

Plus this was not their first depo date for the Grunds, am I correct. Didn't they cancel the depos in July?????

Was she with the other TES searchers?

She was with TES but not assigned to that area, I think she contacted the defense or they got her from J. Jordan, IIRC. She searched that area independently.

Thanks....I kind of remember her but need to look her info up again. I think I wrote her off as being a whack-a-doodle

I wonder if these happened yesterday?

"For the record, present at this deposition are *advertiser censored*, XXXXX, and *advertiser censored*."
"The time is 10:04 am. We are at the Orange County Sheriff's Office."
"Now, XXXXX, where were you on Dec 11 at about....."

Time's up. Next!

Something seems so very wrong with the defense scheduling so many depos on one day, and on the Friday before Labor Day Weekend. :waitasec: My sniffer meter is pegged.

JB cant be there because he will be on Geraldos boat for the holiday week end, most boating ends after labor day. Theres nothing pressing in his life to interupt a holiday getaway. Something is up, I just cant imagine they could accomplish all that in one day based on their work ethic up to this point.IMO

Math is my worst subject but if my figures are right they will be able to spend 12 minutes on each deposition; of course that would be multiplied by the number of attorneys that come to take the depos i.e., 24 minutes each if both JB and CM show up. Even then, what could they possibly discover in that amount of time? :waitasec:

Morning: 3 hours, 18 depos = 10 minutes each

Afternoon: 4 hours, 17 depos - 14.1 minutes each

Those average times stand no matter how many lawyers show up.

If you expect the lawyers to "divide and conquer" then yes, they could double those average times. But you'd have to subtract some number of minutes for Baez running over to Mason to find out what questions he should ask next.

Name, rank, serial numb..... Times up. Next!

Boy oh boy, JB has found another way to test HHJPs authority and patience.

Will the State be involved in these depos?? How can anyone do a complete job in questioning these people when they are all lined up so close together in time? Is this just where the defense questions?? If so how can they do an antiquate job? Am I missing something? :shocked2:

The Court Clerk's site does not show any Notice of Taking Depositions on Thursday .... only on Friday - Sept 3, 2010 ... but LDBurdick complained about all those depositions on one day, at the Hearing on Monday - and Judge P. told them to work it out among themselves, or else HE would set the dates for depositions. I assume they worked out a way to do some of the depositions starting on Thursday, instead of all of them on Friday...

Casey Anthony Lawyers To Depose Dozens Of Authorities
Depositions Of Law Enforcement Officers Start Thursday

POSTED: 4:59 pm EDT September 1, 2010
"ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. -- Casey Anthony’s defense team said it plans to begin deposing dozens of law enforcement officers on Thursday.

In court this week, Anthony’s attorneys said they hope to question 35 officers under oath by the end of Friday.
The officers all have some connection to the investigation, defense lawyers said.

Court records show the depositions will start on Thursday with agents from the Florida Department of Law Enforcement."
