Since any person giving a deposition is not bound to secrecy about what they said in a deposition...I believe it is highly likely that RG may have talked with others about his deposition testimony ... and the "others" may have talked to "others" ... and then the "story" was born. I believe the story that was published most likely reflects what RG and son probably said in their depositions, and I believe RG and son believe their statements to be true accounts of what has happened involving them.

I will point out that Seamus posted his "Bombshell" teaser at 10:15 am yesterday. Jesse's depo was scheduled for 9:30 - 10:00, then Grund Elder was scheduled to appear at 10:00.

I will leave it to others to calculate the time it takes a rumor to be discovered/invented and repeated before it reaches the public.

Yes, that's about right for timing. I think the Grund Elder has good reason to believe Mrs. Anthony would attempt to set him or his son up.

Not that I want to start a rumour or anything. Just saying....

Aw c'mon, all she said was that he was the leader of a satanic cult that sacrificed Caylee. Why would he be upset or suspicious of her over that?

If Judge P sticks to his own Deadlines - the Defense has until the end of this month to depose (66) State witnesses (if they want to). I think JB was whining about all State witnesses being Category A again, because he is going to complain (AGAIN) that he did not get all of the depositions done by the end of this month, because they did not know which ones were important to depose and had important information, because they were all listed in the same Category. I really doubt that Judge P. would deny the defense a deposition of any of the remaining 200 witnesses, even past the Deadlines.

Sorry, I have lost the thread of this case slightly (sold my house finally this week and am hunting for new house:woohoo:, and its keeping me a little busy right now).
Thinktank - are you telling us that they have a little over 2 weeks to depose all the state witnesses? Have they deposed none of the 66 yet? Have I got this right?

If these are key witnesses set out by the state doesn't it make sense for defense to make this a priority? Or do you think an extention will be granted? I seem to remember words to the effect spoken by a certain judge that this was the drop dead date for depo's, am I right?
Is it possible that the defense has put all their eggs into one basket, the TES searchers and proving the body was not there?
 
I get the feeling Jeremiah Lyons is going to be very busy contacting the 66 witnesses Think Tank kindly established fall within the December 31st deadline. And as Think Tank says Baez can choose to depose all or some or none. I just dont see him wasting HIS time doing many depos when J Lyons can formalise the basic testimony each would likely give IF called. And after receiving over 10,000 pages of discovery Baez bloomin well should know who the key witnesses for the State are.

Ok Ok, while I am loathe to give this rumor any credibility whatsoever, I do believe from listening to Simon Barrett's radio show many times that Cobra is in contact with RG (so I think it is quite possible that RG called him straight after the depo to fill him in), and Cobra likely did call SB straight away afterwards as soon as he heard it, and that it is very likely that Peter Hyatt was clued in via telephone by either SB or Cobra, but probably the former...as they were all on the show together many times before SB went off the case recently to focus on other things.

It was brought to my attention, by a very watchful person - PAM - that the Defense did NOT take the deposition of State Witness - David Glasgow - of Oak Ridge Lab - on Sept 21, 2010, as scheduled.

The Defense stated in the Sept 27, 2010 Status Hearing that they took all of the Oak Ridge Lab personnel depositions, except for one - David Glasgow - because he seems to be a minor witness, who collected control samples at the junkyard. The Defense intends to do a telephone conference with this witness, rather than a deposition.

David Glasgow was NOT listed in the Defense's "Unopposed Motion for Certificate for Out of State Witness", filed Sept 14, 2010, with the other Oak Ridge Lab personnel: Michael Burnett; Madhavi Martin; Mark Wise; and Arpad Vass.

There was not a "Notice of Cancellation of Deposition" filed with the Clerk for David Glasgow, however.

Bless this poor guy and his family - this must be a difficult time.

I encourage all men, particularly the athletic ones to see a cardiologist between the ages of 45 and 48. If you have 4 blocked LAD arteries, you will drop, even if you are a marathon runner. Please drag your SO to the doctor and get him checked out.

I see a transcript was filed with the court for depo of Paul Kelley-I am guessing this is the Anthony's former attorney/friend...why would he be deposed?

And, they still are submitting info from Brandon Sparks, RK's son? Oookaaayyyyy....

I am guessing the writ of habeas corpus filed and granted yesterday is for Robyn Adams?
