Can't bear to think about the whip.

I think the younger we are the less fear we have and hitchhiking was always a regular form of travel for young people. Not sure about nowadays - probably still is but the dangers are more pronounced now I think with even taxi drivers not being trustworthy completely.

I think the prosecutor has rounded this all up really well. I can't see anything other than a guilty verdict. I hope they also find there are aggravating circumstances when sentencing.
