Back on September 11, 2008, I sent an email to Kid Finders Network. This is a
copy of the email I sent.
Dear Sirs,
I appreciate all that you do to help find missing children. But in the case of
the Anthony family of Orlando, Florida, it's become clear that 2-year-old Caylee
Anthony is not a missing child. She is most likely deceased. The Orange County
Sheriffs Dept. has stated that there was a decomposed body in the trunk of Casey
Anthony's car and that body was Caylee Anthony.
Yet despite the facts in this case, George Anthony, grandfather of Caylee
Anthony, continues to use the rolling billboard donated by your organization.
He's not using it to advertise a missing child. He's using it as a shield to
prevent media from filming the comings and goings of the family from their home,
and as a shield from protesters that gather in front of their home to protest
the Anthony family's non-cooperation with law enforcement.
In light of the above, I believe it would be in the best interests of your
organization to have the rolling billboard returned to you so it can be used to
benefit a child that's really missing.
Thank you for your consideration in this matter.
Below is the response to my email from Kid Finders Network. I think
Sherri Milstead is probably Dennis' wife.
Thank you for your appreciation but please let me explain how we work
our mobile billboards. Caylee is a Missing Child and she deserves to
be found and brought home. Whether she is alive or no longer with us
the picture has to say out there. Just because someone can't say they
have seen her if she is deceased, someone can come forward who may
tire of seeing her precious face and give the police the tip they need
to locate her. If it sits in front of the home that means it is being
filmed by the news crews and that means many people will see her face.
We do what we do for the child not the family and we will never give
up on a child. An example of child's face we still keep out is a
little girl named Amanda Brown. She has been missing for 10 years,
however they are certain from the 100% positive evidence she is
deceased but that does not stop her father from putting her face out
there in hopes of bringing her home to a final resting place. So you
see, the billboard is very important and some of our families have
actually kept them for almost a year. They give hope and generate
tips and that is what we hope and pray for. Thank you.

I feel the response I received is a very weak argument for allowing the
rolling billboard to remain with the Anthonys despite evidence that Caylee
is deceased.
