They could be shotgun blasts. I wonder if James Holmes used any bombs in the massacre.

Strange that Holmes allowed himself to be caught instead of fleeing or committing suicide. Did he really want to commit suicide, but was to scared to do it.

Supposedly the only guns he had was a rifle and 2 handguns. The other long gun left in the car I don't know what it was.

Just had footage of clothing on the ground near the back of the theater, FBI were taking photos of it. Looks like he was heavily protected...he wanted to survive.

Thanks HMSHood. According to the link a 6 yr old has passed away. I guess he/she is the 13th victim.

That's getting worse. First I heard 15 killed than dropped to 12 killed and now 13 killed.

Thanks, I just went back and re-read. The update was at 10:08am and it said it wasn't confirmed, but if true it would put the death toll at 13.

That is what I am hearing too. He was a very smart guy, Neuroscience isn't an easy area to study.

about 5-6 total buildings have been evacuated around the one where he lives and a restaurant has not opened for the day

firefighters up in cherry pictures taking digital pictures (going on right now) of roof... for clear image of what is on the roof of the apartment building.

They also broke a window earlier and took pictures of the inside of the apartment.

I wonder if James Holmes maybe a copycat of Columbine, Virginia Tech or Utoya Islan Massacre. July 22nd would be the first anniversary of Anders Breivik killing 69 people in Oslo and Utoya Island. That one was a terrorist attack.
