An earlier question still begs an answer- Anyone know anything about this?

perhaps this was answered earlier; why did the car have Tennessee plates?

So did this guy send the text or what? Weird.

I'd like to know what the specific threat of violence was: kicking someone's azz or blowing up a building or what?

Before I go to bed. I noticed the POI had a cover pic of some sort of parking lot taken probably from a car looking through a wet car window.

Picture from inside the shooters apt.

So far police are claiming they are only interested in that person because of electronic communications and he is not a suspect in the shooting itself.

TN license plate on the shooters car has been debunked! ..its false per a TN FBI agent who spoke with Colorado agent.. and secondly I saw with my own two eyes that the shooters plates were NOT TN..

HTH:)

From the examiner, but wonder if it's true? If he asked another person about and apt, maybe he was just looking for any place a couple weeks ago, not a second place?

The 24-year-old Holmes was working on a doctorate degree in Neuroscience when he began buying weapons and receiving an abundance of package deliveries. This would imply that Holmes had been building to this, either alone or with others, leading up to Friday morning’s attack.

Holmes rented his apartment only a couple of weeks prior to the shooting, and the level of sophistication with regard to booby-trapping the apartment would have taken hours, even days. This information suggests Holmes was living at an alternate location.

Am pretty sure that had to do with identifying the wrong James Holmes, who was from Tennessee, and on FB. That guy ended up posting to his wall (or whatever), I'm not the guy who shot up the theater (paraphrased). Anyway, if you do a search, you'll find various reports wrt how that particular rumor began.

From the above link:

"Sources tell Justin Joseph someone made either a call or a text from the person of interest’s phone threatening violence if James Egan Holmes was not released from jail. That call prompted police to issue an alert to find and detain him." :waitasec:

Would an accomplice do that? Or some nut looking for drama? Odd.

Or was this poi accepting some of the packages the accused had ordered? Curious.

Any way a cell phone can be set up ahead of time to send a text at some time in the future? If JH got hold of this guy's phone, could he have set it up days ago? If POI had helped JH (even inadvertently, for example by letting JH stay at his place, or have packages delivered there), he might have decided to get out of town.

Thanks on the licence plates, twas one of the few points that should have either been traced or debunked quite quickly. Missed it..

Tomorrow should bring a whole lot more info. Things are unfolding rapidly enough to be construed in several different ways.

Noticed the poster in the above picture of the fbi inside Holmes apartment? And he killed how many soldiers?

Just wow

Theater shooting suspect a mystery despite intriguing details

Interesting tidbits:

[FBI special agent James] Yacone added that he has broad experience dealing with improvised explosive devices, and that what he saw at Holmes' apartment was "certainly a sophisticated device" that was "challenging for all involved."

...

"Everything came easy for him," Duong said by phone Saturday. "I had one college class with him, and he didn't even have to take notes or anything. He would just show up to class, sit there, and around test time he would always get an A."

...

The resume described how Holmes worked as a summer intern at the Salk Institute for Biological Studies in La Jolla in 2006 and mapped the neurons of Zebra finches and studied the flight muscles of hummingbirds while he was an undergraduate at UC Riverside.
