Sounds fair. Grams posted that Steve Young made a subsequent statement that while Mr. Tanko is not a suspect, no one is ruled out. Kinda goes against his earlier statement tonight that "he is not related to this case, homeless or not". I think that makes it okay to keep sleuthy eyes open!

Imo,Mr. Tanko's off the hook with the LE. I can't imagine Young making a blatant statement that he's not related to the case by mistake. But, who knows? If you turn up some connections, keep us posted. Just want this baby found!

No one is saying you can't discuss Mr. Johnson :floorlaugh:   And Mr. Jersey you can discuss him too. All we are asking is not more screen shots. Link to the record and just don't accuse him of anything. :) Thanks He has been looked for as someone they wanted to talk to. But, if he is cleared then we have to stop 10-4? xoxoxoxo

Did you see a Young Johnson named? I'm gettin' loopy. Calling it a night before Grams checks back into this thread and catches us being bad!

Grams started it !!!! :woohoo::great:

Don't worry about the old posts with pics. They were fair when we got this news tonight. This thread will eventually close and we will be back to the old "Jersey" thread. :)

So just to clarify you can link to the sites, the jail sites, MSM. All of that is OK. And you can discuss still what this means if anything to the case. xoxoxoxo We just don't want to "continue" to screen shot.

Thanks........xoxoxo

Oh! indepmo!

Thank you so much for confirming his DOB! You deserve maximum kudos for sleuthing this detail out for me!

The next box of decent Chardonnay is on me!

BBM - A "decent" Chardonnay does not come in a box. Just sayin.. :D

That's what I thought (just didn't wanna say it too). I've said many times we're a 1 income family and I'll dang well will go without than drink wine out of a box. Maybe there's better out there, but unless it comes outta a bottle...no thanks ;)

MOOOOOOOOOO -- carry on :)

I *think* that the explanation of reprogramming them was to answer why they had three cell phones stolen when there were only two adults in the home. Not to answer why they were on the counter. I could be wrong, but that is what my recollection is serving me.
http://news.yahoo.com/missing-baby-lisa-parents-abductor-took-cell-phones-111518155.html
Lisa's mother, Deborah Bradley, said that she had left three cell phones on the kitchen counter where she had been re-programming the numbers.
snipped
"We were running around the house and were screaming for [Lisa] and she was nowhere," Bradley said. "Then I said, 'Call 911, call 911.' But Jeremy couldn't find the cell phones. They were gone."

I find the last quote extremely odd since JI had cell phone from work.

..and it was right in his pocket-----how are you not aware that you have a cell phone in your pocket?

-----timeline:
Jeremy—regarding what phone was used to call 911—thank you patty g!

Jeramy hadn't taken his phone with him so his phone and her phone were on the kitchen counter. The third phone was a broken phone.

She was telling Jeramy to call 911, call 911 and they were panicking. She said were are the phones? Jeramy had his work phone on him however, he didn't know that he had his work phone on him until he put his hand in his pocket.

If there was no land line, shouldn't one of the three phones been with DB in the bedroom with her? Not only is she in bed, not hearing a monitor; closing her baby's door; being alone at night for the first time....not to mention she doesn't think the dog would help out if a stranger tried to get in...she leaves him outside. The judgement is way off with the mother. To make matters worse, jeremy doesn't take his phone either. By some strange alignment of the stars, she choosed this particular night to fix all the cell phones, but doesn't. She leaves them sitting out.

This woman is histrionic at best and that's a compliment at this point. The neighborhood is ridden with crime and look at her non-chalant behavior regarding safety.

Where is this being reported? The land line that was in Jeremy's name was disconnected - was there another?

My mistake...It was said that the last call made was at 2: 23. I assumed it had to be a landline because the cells were being deprogrammed by DB...another coincidence. The call must have been from one of the cells she said she left on the kitchen counter.

I think it's important to visit this subject and I don't think anyone on here has.
I can almost bet for certain the young man who went into this vacant house received a biggest *advertiser censored** chewing tonight. He was most likely also scolded that he should have called police, even if it was the tips hotline and the home would have been searched anyway. People don't realize how easy it is to contaminate a crime scene, and they especially don't understand the dangers of going into these vacant structures.

I do applaud his efforts, and I believe the general public is getting frustrated. Calling in 25 National Guard troops just doesn't seem like enough people searching.

I don't feel there are enough people out there searching, and there are professional groups out there who trained for these types of searches. If CERT and SARS was called in, there could be 100's of searchers covering so much area out there, that you could erase the big red question mark and place a big red X over it. I've been involved in missing person searches in the past, and I am always amazed at the resources available that are currently sitting idle.

While on that very subject also, I'm surprised we haven't heard anything in regards to Texas Equusearch.

Even though Captain Young stated that the diapers were too old for the timeline in Baby Lisa's case, he still had crime scene techs come out. If he is that careful, then have the diaper contents tested for DNA from the baby. Forensics can even try to lift prints from the diaper (they can with plastic trash bags sometimes), dust the baby food jars and the baby wipes container for prints. Then if these things can be eliminated from having anything to do with Baby Lisa, okay.

Ask the kids and parents if there is a Scooby Doo backpack missing from the home and if they ever had one.

Elimination of certain items, evidence, and people are all part of an investigation. Test everything!

Yup, I could use a heads up on "Jersey" too. Was he the guy that the neighbor's husband said was seen carrying a baby at a really weird time of night, or is this another guy? I'm so confused, we're getting too many players and I don't have enough brain power to keep up.

Does make me wonder too. My only questioning thoughts are why would a handy man want a baby for himself? If he did this...there has to be a woman involved in this somewhere. Just a thought.

They are testing the diaper for DNA. Also, one may have not had the right size. Which triggers a thought. They should have the grocery stores "log" the time on their security tapes of anyone buying diapers. Cashiers get pretty familiar with their customers...maybe one of them may "recognize" someone buying diapers that normally never has bought them?

Yes, agree. They were on the counter cause she always keeps them on the kitchen counter [even without a landline and it being evening/early morning hours]. Cough.

If they were on charge that was a good place to keep them. I've done that because our cat has chewed to Apple chargers and they get expensive. Have no idea why our cat does that...he does not chew on anything else...ever. Must be something in the material is my guess. Anyhow...sorry to get sidetracked..I don't find it unusual at all to keep the phones on the kitchen counter. Not everyone thinks an emergency may come in the bedroom and need a phone:( Or she may routinely keep one in the bedroom but this night she didn't.
