Hi there, I have some links that may help

It is important to know a little background about Jodi and Travis before you listen to her interrogations, to understand her entire statements were replete with lies. Here is one of his dear friends explaining her fatal attraction

Mike Bertot http://youtu.be/0PN1ycQJy4o

David Lohr, Sr. Crime Writer for the Huffington Post has a timeline

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/12/31/jodi-arias-timeline_n_2387245.html

He also posted the entire trial on line in videos
https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL_Rz53XTtnkEf4qetcdaEwSY00mKCOoYo

David Lohr kindly paid for and edited the entire penalty phase retrial as well https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLwxYl_sbb8Iz6yEqNE5gglA3Pf2SdSgwv

Most of the court documents in the case are on www.courtchatter.com

Fox News has a wonderful timeline section too http://www.foxnews.com/us/2013/05/22/timeline-key-events-in-jodi-arias-murder-case/

Here is a link to a playlist of videos from the television shows on HLN that had a lot of Travis' friends on to be interviewed.

I'd say start with the 911 call , then the police interrogations, then the trial. Here is the 911 call

Katie Cool Lady, one of our members blogged about the trial every night. She has an entire thread here. It was amazing, first hand blow by blow of the trial.

In this phase, when cameras were not allowed, Paul Sanders attended the trial each day and his blogs, like Katie's are wonderful. They both describe everything so well it makes one feel like they are there.

I hope this helps a bit. I am sorry about your nightmares. Here is Travis in much happier times https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tm-tgbwO2aQ&feature=youtu.be

Next time you have a bad dream about the frightening photos try to think of him dancing his little happy chicken dance with his friends https://youtu.be/VIsCVcOy11k

So sweet of you to compile all these links!

Hi Zoey. Myself and at least one more poster (can't recall who right now) had posted a question to you. We were asking if you knew Travis, or his family on a personal level? Also, did you attend any of the trial? I had read a couple of posts that implied you were a friend of Travis'. I know you do a lot of research and I am just curious. TIA.

:( Did I miss the response? I'm curious, too!

No matter how hard I try to read in chronological order - I still end up skipping around, especially when responding to someone. :/ Someday, I might just shut my mouth/tape my fingers and read, read, read, lol.

I read a tweet that Sheriff Joe will be releasing his report on the inmates conduct in May. I wonder why he is waiting so long.

Having watched the sentencing day footage many times by now, as well as the follow-up Q and A with
Troy Hayden and Sammia, I have to say how tickled I am to realize just how much Juan and the Alexander women got under Jodi's skin.

It's hard to tell if she had planned on speaking. The tete a tete she had with Willmott prior to making her statement makes me wonder if it was mostly ad hoc. I think Willmott advised her against changing her script, but she probably knows as well as anyone that the ego of Jodi Arias will not be subject to such effrontery without some sort of verbal payback.

She did fall back on her very well-rehearsed (almost word-for-word) statement which we've heard before, about wishing she could do that day over, yadayadayada (which I think most people translate to mean: covering her tracks better). But the fact that she just HAD to start off by setting the record straight about what people had just said about her, makes you realize that despite her best efforts to appear unfazed, she was seething inside.

Troy made such a good point about her voice being different that day. Not the whispery, sweet, little girl voice of a poor innocent victim of abuse. In those few moments, she was full-throated; no one had to ask her to speak up, as both the defense and prosecution did during her secret testimony. As Troy said, that was her real voice. That was the real Jodi Arias.

Whether it was strategy or not, Juan and the Alexanders succeeded in drawing out her true nature. It wasn't a private phone conversation that she can go back and rescript; it's on the record for all to see (including the throat-slashing statement), and that truth about her will follow her forever. Amen.

ETA/BBM:

Again, whether it was intentional or not, I'm so happy that Jodi was likely still seething on her trip to Perryville...

I have not seen a reply either. Maybe she thinks it's none of my business and if so, I apologize to her. I was just curious because of some of her posts. I guess I am just too used to all of the questions KCL answered, and by the way KCL I have the car (KCL mobile) gassed up and ready to roll after the wedding. :loveyou:

The Snapped episode for Prisoner #282119 is on Oxygen now.

I remember hearing about this case in 09 or 08. I actually heard about it on a whole other forum that was talking about tv shows, but dedicated to discussing the show 48 hours. People were talking about the commercials for it, so I tuned in and started sleuthing. I didn't know what websleuthes was till the Drew Peterson trial. I remember the myspace pages and all that. We were hardcore on that tv forum. The tv forum closed, but some old members have kept in touch with me out of making sure Travis Alexander gets justice. Kinda weird, huh?

Thanks CA. I have my thoughts.

KCL is so very neato! I first learned of her and enjoyed her reporting from WAT the first go round of this trial.
I'm with you all in wishing for her the happiest bestest beginning of a wonderful life :D :happydance:

Oh if you want to see the initial articles try azcentral.com. Croakerqueen and David Lohr have excellent you tube channels. Her interviews are the 48 hrs one and then the inside edition one.

Thanks for the link to the gmail chat. I had read the chat before but the comments and analysis on Lisa's blog were psychologically fascinating. I too think that Arias is a most dangerous female psychopath, if not the worst in our time. Potentially worse than Bundy. I believe she was about to take another "road trip" just prior to her arrest to commit another crime, even another murder. IMO the Hughes were next. Who travels with a 9mm handgun and knives? I believe she knew she was about to get arrested and still had some "unfinished business" and figured she had nothingto lose.
The relationship between Travis and his killer was complicated, that is apparent. I do think Travis, while recognizing something was just not right with CMJA, did not think she was capable of murder, or he would have taken measures to protect himself. I think Travis thought it was over as she had moved home, and never expected the killer to visit June 4. IMO she totally surprised him that day, and the rest is history. I believe the killer achieved great satisfaction with every stab and wanted Travis to suffer, which he did.
The killer is exactly where she should be. Locked away forever. She should never walk amongst us again. I don't ever think she will walk free. While JSS certainly got on my last nerve many times during those two trials, I think she crossed her T's and dotted her I's to prevent any appeal issue under which the killer can be released.
---------------

I agree! I also believe she is a psychopath , and deceiving enough to be able to cover it up from many. I have no doubt she would have killed again. The look on her face tells it all. I don't even see her ever getting an appeal. She is too eager to let her venom show. I also believe there was much more to this "story" that we never heard. She is pure evil. IMO.

Anyone have an idea what this is about?

MIMI B VAVAL ‏@MIMIBVAVAL 2m2 minutes ago Why is Az State hiring http://www.raynaklaw.com 4 #jodiarias appeal what happened to PD? Are Az taxpayers in for another $3.4 millions?

It looks as though MDLR's personal attorney Dan Raynack is going to be the appeals attorney for the butcheress. Or that's the spin I get from the tweet you posted. I do recall when MDLR was busted at the jail for smuggling, he was her attorney and spoke out about it.... and Sheriff Joe. How convenient is that?

ETA:

Dan Raynak, De La Rosa's attorney, disagreed with the ban, saying his client did nothing wrong in taking the drawing from the jail and called the move a "publicity stunt" by the sheriff. http://www.reuters.com/article/2014/03/18/us-usa-arizona-arias-idUSBREA2H26D20140318

Thanks Bernina. I have been reading the thread, and it looks like they are getting closer in identifying this man. My prayers will continue that it comes to a close soon.

Thank you so much for your answer. Let me explain - I viewed this 48 hours doc and also followed the sentenccing some days ago. Since I knew about the case last week I have been catching up in all I could find about. Have also been reading here in WS the transcriptions, letters, journals, messages, vídeos, etc.

What I really wanted now was to reach the very first thread about Travis Alexander reporting he went missing. I'd like to see posts and reports since that day of June on. To see the development of the case, the opinions of the posters, the day his body was found, the way they were led to the now rotten inmate for life in Perryville :jail: , her detention, etc, etc. This first hour's thread and on is what I can't find.

As for the monster, I hate what she did and what she represents. I wonder how many others are her alike and I fear so much that one day any of them can cross my children's path or anyone else's path. She is evil to the core :burn: and very, very dangerous

Thank you1

I would start with the interrogation videos (on YouTube). Detective Flores did the interrogation in Yreka CA in July 2008. He's a genius interrogator! On YouTube you can also get Arias' phone calls to Flores in June 2008. Then, watch the video of the first trial.

From the very beginning of this I was dying to hear about ja from all of her friends and family. I wanted to know what people close to her thought, and how she became the person she was. Now, after 7+ years, I really haven't learned too much. The only ones that had anything good to say about her in public was Daryl, her mother and that heroin addict friend. Was there anybody else? (Not counting people who are paid to say good things)

Tonight's 20/20 is about someone who is more evil than Arias.

Woman has murdered 2 husbands within 5 years, using anti-freeze to poison each one, which is a horribly painful way to die and it takes each man at least 2 days to die.

She had 2 daughters with the 1st husband, the girls now grown up. She poisons her eldest daughter using an anti-freeze laced alcohol drink and left a suicide note near the daughter's body in her bedroom. Daughter is found by her sister, rushed to hospital and by some miracle she lives. The suicide note, supposed to have been written by the daughter, claims responsibility for poisoning both men (her father and her step father) and says she can't take the guilt anymore.

The mother had tried to make her daughter's 'death' look like a suicide. She wanted her own daughter to die and take the fall for the murder of the 2 men so LE would not investigate her and accuse her as they were already interrogating her and she was the main suspect.

The mother goes on trial and tries to throw her own daughter under the bus. The mother got her mother (grandmother of the girls) to believe the daughter is the killer of the 2 men. Talk about betrayal. Does it get more heinous than this?

There are no good murders. And there is no lack of murderers. However JA is a class by herself. She wasn't related to Travis. And all she had to do was stay away from him. His last two minutes were horrific. I think having someone kill you by any form of torture warrants the DP. You cannot compare apples to oranges. Sick people in this world!

boy, she is so pissed that she can't even summon her game face/voice for the judge while she's being sentenced by her. She was SEETHING. To me, it was the purest "Jodi" we'd seen/heard.

Kind of funny in a way. All those years of carefully structured storytelling and endless days on the stand acting a part and it all goes up in flames as she disappears, hopefully forever, from public view. She couldn't contain her hatred of the Alexanders who represent Travis to her and, in her warped psycho mind, represent how she has been victimized. Doncha all know she HAD to kill him-he was going to ruin her plans, the con to get a successful, naive, hardworking, pliable Mormon husband. I've always felt she thought she stumbled into nirvana with the Mormon community. So many good-hearted hardworking people ripe for plundering. How dare he cast her aside, how worried she was that he would ruin her chances with the next Mormon mark.

So, on her final day in the spotlight, there were no more rules of evidence, of presumptions in favor of the defendant, protections for her rights, all that was over and the family could finally say whatever they wanted. So could her own sole witness, her Mother, who in true Arias fashion was so over the top, tone deaf and clueless that she evoked only disdain. But not the Alexanders. They spoke the truth from their hearts and did not have to contain their emotions to protect the process any longer. Not even her lawyers could do anything-no more repeated pop-up objections to thwart the flow. And boy, did she HATE that.

And so in her raging farewell appearance she even managed to confess details of the murder that she repeatedly claimed were covered by that dense "fog" that was apparently not so dense after all.

She thus went out like the seething, murdering liar she is. And all is a little bit more right with the world.

Stacy Castor? I've seen this case on other shows. But I didn't know that she'd convinced her own mother that Ashley did it.

Yes, that's her. Yes, Stacy's own mother (grandmother to the 2 girls) is convinced that her granddaughter (Ashley) actually killed 2 men, one of them her own father, at 11 yrs of age, rather than the one person who benefited financially from 2 dead husbands! What 11 yr old would even know about antifreeze in the first place? What a stupid, stupid woman she is.

Even the judge said to Stacy, at her sentencing, she had tortured 2 men. Poisoning by antifreeze is a horrible death, it takes up to a few days, depending, all the while the person is in agony as their organs are shutting down one by one. I stand corrected though; Stacy didn't give antifreeze to her own daughter, she laced her daughter's drink with a high amount of Ambien, to make it look like the daughter wanted to kill herself and did so through an overdose.
