If all photo's have to be G-rated then that means she will not be able to have any Selfie's, so there is a silver ray that shine's after all, and this post also reminded me she won't have her puppet lawyer's providing the cell phone's for her to take her much loved selfie's! I feel a bit better already!!!!!!

Photos are only allowed to be taken at the prison on specific days of the year (maybe just twice a year, IIRC), and that's a privilege she has to earn.

The prison regulations for visitation, etc. are mind-boggling. And, since MDLR will no longer have an official status, she'll be required to follow dress code: no sleeveless, neckline at collarbone front and back, skirts to the knees. I bet her hairdo will be searched as well.

Yes, there's no way to take a selfie. All photos have to be approved. I believe inmates are only allowed 5 or so in their possessions.

The Tweet I saw by the JA supporters calling the 11 jurors pedo huggers listed only those 11 names and NOT JUROR 17. Instead, to the right of Juror 17 it says: the one who saved Jodi's life.
\

Juror 17's name is all over the internet FYI

This is an answer to a post that was in the last thread. Please feel free to skip it.
However, I think that tartlemon was somehow drawing a parallel between this case and the O.J. Simpson case. Before looking at that, I thought there were some errors in her post that should be corrected.

Where are your sources for this? Do you have inside information about money given by O.J. Simpson to his children?

1. First, to clarify in the people involved in the Civil suit against O.J. Simpson
]
http://www.cnn.com/US/9609/16/simpson.case/

2. O.J. Simpson was found not guilty of murder, but was found to be liable for Nicole Brown's death in a civil suit. As a result of that finding, an amount was set by the court which Simpson was supposed to pay.

http://www.cnbc.com/id/101748242
Simpson claimed poverty in order to avoid paying anything in damages. Kim Goldman believes that he hid his assets and continued to hide income other than his pension.
http://www.cnbc.com/id/101748242
Courts had decided that the Goldmans could not collect the debt from any of the $25,000 per month pension he receives from the NFL, which should have meant the Simpson had more than enough money to support his four children. Therefore, the little money that was collected came from the sale of Simpson's book.
http://www.cnbc.com/id/101748242

3. http://www.people.com/people/archive/article/0,,20139291,00.html
Since he was responsible for their upbringing, and that of his other two children, O.J. Simpson should have been making sure that his debts to the court were paid in order for his children to benefit. Since the punitive damages of the award were to be evenly split between the Goldman and Brown plaintiffs, the Goldmans were not taking any money from Justin and Sydney. The money was being taken from O.J. and set aside for Justin and Sydney.

When their mother, Nicole Brown, O.J. Simpson's ex-wife, was murdered, Justin was 5 and Sydney was 8. According to their aunt, Tanya Brown, both Justin and Sydney, having finished college, and are now professionals in the restaurant business. At the time of their grandfather, Lou Brown's, funeral in July of 2014, Justin Simpson was 25 and Sydney was 28. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2694745/United-grief-Nicole-Brown-Simpsons-children IMO, they will still be entitled to an equal share of any money received in payments to the court.

4. There was a reason that the Goldmans pursued O.J.'s assets. (And here is where there may be a parallel.)
Kim http://www.cnbc.com/id/101748242

5. OJ Simpson remains behind bars at the Lovelock Correctional Center in Nevada while he serves at least three more years of a 9 - 33 year sentence on robbery and kidnapping charges. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2015/03/04/oj-simpson-prison-box_n_6800628.html

I think there are posters who are radically DP but don't have the guts to state it on a victim friendly site (and, IMO, they should get a clue and not even bother). I find that cowardly, just like juror 17 who would not step up to the plate and cried victim. I think your words are wasted on them.

I for the most part like Nancy Grace, yes she do get very drama filled! But you see where I live you are guilty until proven innocent, so I can get pretty drama filled with this case. I watched the verdict as Nancy Grace reported it on HLN. And yes the family of Travis was very emotional, but they had every right to be so. I also remember when the issue came up back in Oct. It was reported that there was a Juror problem and everyone thought maybe a juror would be removed and all the reporters were tweeting that there was another secret meeting in chambers was going on. I don't remember if the PT were in the meeting or not but I just assumed that they were. On Mon. all reported that no juror was excused so everyone was wondering what had happened. Dr. Drew had reported that day that a juror was going to be a guest on his show that night and I remember that the reporters were guessing that the DT would file another motion based on this, then reported that it was a false alarm because it was a juror from the first trial. Now I also wonder what the secret meeting was about. But also remember that a juror was excused because of a traffic fine of some sort, so a juror that had a spouse with a conviction seems to me that the DT would have been screaming to get them off of the the jury would have been the case. I believe something is very fishy about Juror 17, the hold out juror.
Also I do remember reading the tweets in closing and they were told that they could consider the fact that if they did choose life the it could mean that she could be considered for release after 25 years and that came from the PT. This juror refused to give from the beginning and this judge was made aware from the beginning that is why the so called questions were never released to the media!

Pretty sure she won't have unfettered access to pass things, won't be able to let her use her phone. She'll probably be limited to NC visits for a long time, or through glass. Prison sucks there's no ways about it. Britskate has told us that people like arias are always moving their goalposts. She's been crying "appeals" since the first jury betrayed her. She did everything humanly possible to achieve a DP verdict. I said it this morning that a life of being prisoner 111456 to her is a fate worse than death. She has NO real goalposts now. If she wants that appeal she's going to be hard pressed to even find a private attorney to take her as a client and when she finds one that attorney is going to want $500k retainer just to start. She has never raised more than $35,000 TOTAL. She's now stuck living a long life (like she said) scrubbing other people's chit for .10 CENTS an hour, living amongst other mentally impaired (all menstruated at the same time) women who equally all hate each other who WILL kill you over a little Debbie snack (there's no cash in prison it's worthless) she will probably be able to trade for commissary items for drawing cards for other inmates. Her highlight of the year is when they might possibly get cake served once per year. She will literally be just another inmate. IF she goes in there acting like she's better than the other women I expect she might end up being beat with soap. For people like Angela, another write up is NOTHING compared to the reputation they have to keep up. Prison is a pecking order. It's the hunted and the prey. She will fall in between. She will be miserable.

Also, her saline implants have another probably 8-10 years left before they start to leak out into her body. The state will not pay to repair or replace implants. She will be walking around for the next 35 years with sagging skin for breasts were there once were implants. Oh do you have a head ache jodi.. ? No prescription medication for you! Get ulcers or Crohn's disease? You suffer in the 125 degree heat no prescriptions for you and she'll STILL have to get up and clean other people's chit for 10 cents an hour with her head ache. I could go on and on about how miserable jodi will be.

What did I miss here? I'm in the dark, can anyone enlighten me? TIA

Hi Neesaki, it is believed that Juror#17 is the "lone juror" that hung the jury. Smeck found that BK had posted back in October 2014 that Juror #17, for an unknown reason, was taken into JSS's chamber and a discussion was held with the attorneys and JA. Many find this interesting and are wondering if something was afoot with this juror back then. While very curious indeed, it is all speculation at this point. HTH

However, I, for one, am waiting for this transcript to be released because it is certainly suspect that JSS called a meeting with this juror back in October who just happens to be the one whose vote led to a mistrial in this penalty phase.

Jodi Arias is the NEW Charles Manson. Isn't he 85 and about to get married ? Life in prison really sucks huh..........?
Jodi is a cold calculated MURDERER. Who did Charles Manson murder? Don't get me wrong. I believe wholeheartedly he is EXACTLY where he belongs.

What I do NOT understand to begin with is why is that even allowed to take place in secret in the first place?

Who in the hell has EVER heard of a Judge taking the DT, defendant, and a sitting juror into her secret chambers and shutting everyone else out?

This entire trial has been so bizarre. From the very beginning it has had the feeling to me that something just isn't right with this case. So many of JSSs actions I have never heard or seen before and not only did it happen..........it has been continuous all throughout the guilt and sentencing phases.

Was Juan in this meetings?

Was Juan in this meetings?

IIRC he was. But now you have me unsure, I will research and look to ensure accuracy.

OK found it, yes he was there per BK as posted by Smeck:

"This according to Beth Karas October 2014 post.
Beth Karas

Jury is sent home until Monday morning. The judge asks juror #17 to stay behind. Nurmi waives Arias's presence for whatever they are doing in chambers. Attorneys meet with judge in chambers now. Arias follows them in--I guess her presence is not waived."

http://usatoday30.usatoday.com/sports/boxing/2007-04-12-tyson-trial_N.htm

MESA, Ariz. (AP) — Former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson appeared in court Thursday and learned he will go on trial Aug. 20 on charges of drug possession and driving under the influence of drugs.
Tyson was fresh out of a California rehabilitation facility and said very little during the five-minute proceeding.

"Yes, ma'am" were his only words, uttered after Maricopa County Superior Court Judge Sherry Stephens asked if he agreed to the trial date, which was pushed back 30 days at his attorneys' request.

Seriously? How is that a mistake? How is that illegal?

Yet introducing a Lifetime movie is evidence. LOL

The jury was supposed to consider her sentence. That's exactly what they were supposed to consider. Not illegal. The juror instructions say that they shouldn't consider the financial cost of penalty, but otherwise this was the sentencing phase.

The movie is definitely a problem, though.
"The evidence you shall consider consists of the testimony and exhibits the court admitted in evidence during all of the three phases of this trial."

I agree....totally!!

I believe the Alexander's were not wailing so much for Jodi not getting the death penalty but more the anguish of their brothers heinous murder and there was no true justice for Travis. Jodi's family will be able to visit her in prison, The Alexander's will never see Travis again. I find your remarks offensive .

Jodi is a cold calculated MURDERER. Who did Charles Manson murder? Don't get me wrong. I believe wholeheartedly he is EXACTLY where he belongs.

Not to be redundant, but Charles Manson was found GUILTY of 7 counts of murder. He was convicted of the murders through the joint-responsibility rule. Same rules apply to ALL. Just as JA is now free of the DP, Manson was guilty of murder. End of.
