What? I give phenobarbitol to my cat. Twice a day....lol. it is readily available at HEB or ANY pharmacy. Please tell me how there is not enough for more than one execution? Firing squads sounds fine by me. We have enough ammo round here.

It's not that there's not enough, it's that the makers of it are apparently either anti-DP or just don't want their brand associated with it... I suppose it's not good for business if you're marketing it for a sleep-aid.. lol

"Pentobarbital is used short-term to treat insomnia. Pentobarbital is also used as an emergency treatment for seizures, and to cause you to fall asleep for surgery."

Ok ... are these video chats for real? I just saw one released on Twitter and i'm like WTH? How, how, can she do this? Is this fake??

Oh!! I want to go and try and find that ...I know it will probably infuriate me, but I'm still too curious!!

* After patients have met all the requirements, they must wait at least 15 days before getting a prescription for a lethal dose of secobarbital, a barbiturate.

ETA: There i an excellent documentary on this. It's extremely sad. http://www.howtodieinoregon.com/

What is used for people with terminal illnesses who choose to end their lives with physician-assisted suicide?

Epilepsy. I just wanted to be clear that I am not giving my cat a sleep aid. lol.

I am trying to find it since my neighbor so nicely woke me while having a room part at 0230! Ugh. Anywys, I can't, so if you find it please share with us...

It depends on what they're dying of. Usually very high doses of morphine if the patient is palliative.

Just wanted to add some context. As of March 1st only 4 states have a form of dying with dignity act enacted. Each of the 4 states differ in the requirements and the process. Most always a doctor writes a prescription for secobarbital that the patient picks up at their own pharmacy. The doctor cannot assist in administering the medicine and the patient must administer the dose themselves.

I'm wondering why he even opened the door. That was very suspicious to me. I'm pretty sure that my husband wouldn't open the door... But j17 dh seemed way too eager to answer that door... Weird.

I also think it's weird that he would go watch the trial. Why?? He's had more experience watching trials that most of us just with his own legal issues, and b/c of this most felons prefer to steer clear of the courthouse!! Again, weird.

I have pictures that I found while hunting around on the Internet, and I am 95%-98% sure that's him behind CMJA's family, If anyone is interested in seeing them or knowing where I found them let me know... I don't want to break any rules by posting links, or uploading pictures that I'm not supposed to.

Okay, it's time for yet another Ambien post. I guess everyone should just start putting these on your schedule, 10:00pm CST...

I have a lot of thoughts, many/most are assumptions, so don't start running with these as rumor ... This is the plot of a conspiracy. Enjoy.

1. When you think back to J17's husband opening the door, with a little hostility to his tone, and had the script about how she was/or felt 'abused' during deliberations. .. he sure seemed like the one wearing the pants. Just a 'tad' bit controlling. And cocky.

A. Is he controlling enough to pry each day's story/testimony from J17 on what had happed in trial day after day. Have deep conversations about it over dinner. Or even during the holidays with other friends and family. I mean, once you've told your husband, you might as well get everyone in the family's opinion. (Someone posted an article the other day about the make up of a DP jury and how it is mostly white .. the jury panel experts said it is because the possible jurors who are minority, usually get kicked off because they don't believe in DP.)

B. Is he controlling enough to research on the internet all day long about that pretty, sexy little thing that's on trial .... she could even be classified as a *advertiser censored* (ha-ha, remember his favorite shirt: I <3 *advertiser censored*). You know, there are a lot of guys in CMJA's cult/camp. Does this guy even work?

C. J17 coming from a previous violent controlling man would find it comforting that her DH is taking an interest in something she is doing. And there's no reason to fight when he has done all the research, made up his mind, and he's happy ... he has his chance to screw over THE MAN.

D. Assume now that DH has stepped up and is joining her at the courthouse to 'watch' from the back row. Well, now they really have something to talk about over dinner because he just heard everything she was not allowed to. You can double the pages of the book you will sell with two sides to the story.

E. If DH starts to feel strongly about CMJA and starts to brainwash J17 ...how could she deny him his vote? Even though everything the 11 are saying to her makes sense, she can't give them her vote, and she's so brainwashed and knows what she is 'supposed' to (for him) do, she can't fully participate. She has her man and her plan.

Well, that was a little bedtime story ... night guys! :offtobed:

No. Drew Peterson, ex-cop and murderer of 2 wives (Illinois)

Oooohhh!! Now THAT would be a match made in prison heaven....Drew Peterson and Jodi Arias!!! :trainwreck: :drama: :gasp:

(Sorry, had to edit to get my smileys right)

It is suspicious at best, criminal at the worst. I feel bad for even speculating he seems like such a nice guy. In fact I'm sure he was as innocent As Jodi! It would appear to the average person the man In the blue button down behind jodis family looks remarkably similar to juror17s husband. I'm sure that it's also Just a coincidence too, though just his doppleganger. Vc king said it best "The probability of a certain set of circumstances coming together in a meaningful (or tragic) way is so low that it simply cannot be considered mere coincidence."

EXACTLY!! Hahahaha!!! All felons are INNOCENT and VICTIMS, right?!! It's just so funny that even while doing jury duty they still have that SAME mentality!!

Plus, isn't it possible he was there to have lunch with the respectable juror #17 *sarcasm alert*. But seriously, as much as i surely dislike the lot of them, I would guess that IF that is him, which I really don't think it is, it would be a coincidence, IMO. I mean, his lovely wife was a juror for almost 1/2 a year, so I am sure he was there sometime...

Ummm, yes!! I'm going to have to agree with you... Looks like a joke. Darn!!

However, when I was reading that jail/prison talk forum last night I was amazed at how many people asked (and this is verbatim) if a certain jail or prison allows you to mail "racy" pictures to an inmate!! Or, "if we send pictures how "racy" can the be"... Lol!! I couldn't believe it!!

o/t but i am just sick about this

Ha! Speaking of juror 17, I just came across what I think is a pretty terrific write up on one person's opinion regarding the whole situation:
https://justiceandretribution.wordpress.com/2015/03/11/per-juror-17/

Hey there NancyDrew, great minds and all that.. :)

@TrialDiariesJ just posted this... I haven't read it all the way through yet but is an interview with the foreman

http://thetrialdiaries.com/exclusivethe-foreman-from-the-jodi-arias-trial-speakshear-his-story/

edited to add, found an interesting note as I'm reading (bbm):

"We cross referenced journals and text messages and wondered why Travis was so mad. . We however did find something that wasn’t brought out in court. It was a text from Jodi Arias to Travis Alexander stating to him she needed to speak to the Bishop about the sex stat. We felt this may have been the trigger for Travis’s anger."

Reading that interview just really frustrates me. I have a bridge to sell juror 17 if she honestly believed what was written in those alibis err journals. She's either easily manipulated OR she wasnt being honest. How can you factor non existent mitigators? How? I swear

Check the sidebar... if what appears to be a pretty direct link, someone's honesty might have already been bought.

OMG about the text saying she wanted to go to the Bishop!!!

Check out the May 26th chat (link: http://www.websleuths.com/forums/showthread.php?271785-Travis-Alexander-s-Journals-and-text-messages

page 9 (summary of whole text) and page 10 (all of what she said during the chat).

Going to the Bishop was one possibility I considered, and I think the jury got it right that was part one leading to the exchange on May 26. Now I am 100% convinced that the sex tape was the part 2 she waited to tell him.

She must have told him- I'm going to the Bishop because I need to for my spiritual well being (how was he going to argue against THAT?) and then, Travis, I'm also going because I recorded that sex call, the phone was stolen, someone is going to listen to it, and I'd rather tell my Bishop now, before that happens.

What an evil evil evil evil horrible twisted killer.
