I saw this story and thought Daniele was in the wrong. A complaint was called in so the police were doing their job by investigating it. It could have been quickly and easily handled if she had just complied and been pleasant. However her behavior and her attitude that they ought to recognize her was obnoxious and uncooperative.( I didn't recognize her, I never saw that movie, never heard of her and even if I did, who cares)
Have I ever been pulled over/approached by police when I have done nothing wrong? Yes I have. Once my husband and i were lost and ended up going down a very sketchy street where an officer felt that we looked out of place (apparently people drive down there looking for drugs). We were polite with the officer, showed him our ID and explained we were lost and needed directions. We were thankful to him for his help, understood his reason for stopping us and did not have an attitude about it
Another time, I was approached by LE when i was in the area I taught in (inner city New Orleans, projects). Again I had nothing to hide and had no attitude. I understand that cops are just doing their job and I don't think of myself as some entitled person above the law.
i think this actress just shot down her own career. Nobody wants to deal with an ego or attitude like that, especially coming from someone who has had one small part in a movie. Obviously someone her age should know better than to display an extreme display of affection in public. She seems a bit of an exhibitionist who thrives on attention and wants to be noticed.
I just remembered that hubby and I also had an encounter with a cop when we went "parking" one night. We were just married and were staying in a in family members house with 5 other people and no privacy. So went for a drive, found a dark, unpopulated area in the woods and enjoyed some privacy and had a cop come upon us. We were not caught in an indecent situation but we did have some explaining to do, which we did. Again, the incident was quickly handled and not escalated. We were both polite, cooperative, had nothing to hide and had no sense of entitlement.
Amazing how not having an attitude and complying with the cops can make all the difference.
