NamUs has a lot of unclaimed persons in a separate section. Has anyone attempted to work with relevant agencies to locate the next of kin?
The National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NamUs)
This woman died in 1989 but her family couldn't be located and according to a friend of the woman, the decedent had two sisters.
@doggybag2355 have you considered browsing that section and contacting the agencies? This is a case where it's possible some people are still wondering where their loved one is.

I've noticed some updates with cases needing donation. Both Ramsey County cases have had their amounts upped to 3450, and are both sitting at 10%. Maury Co. Jane Doe is also at 35ish% now.

I’m not sure what you’re asking in reference of with these. I’m not very familiar with ClaimUs.

They list decedents whose families haven't been located. I think some of these could be solved through genetic genealogy.

Oh yeah it’s definitely possible. I haven’t gotten in contact as much with agencies lately though, as most almost act like they don’t want the help. The only one I had any success with was Morrill County, but even then I haven’t seen anything happen with them and the DDP. I think someone else needs to reach out to him to show that there’s interest in getting it solved.

Did they remove the pinned post on Facebook?
It is not pinned but you can still find it if click on pictures and scroll a lot, all the information on it stays intact, no updates including to the spreadsheet (It is now pn Tuesday)

Did they do it by accident? Their latest updates are always there.

Yes, I think it happened once before, they unpinned it accidentally, later they pinned it again, somebody asked about it and they answered it was an accident. On the phone it appears as the last picture.

I emailed the Indiana State Police about JCJD, however I did realize the article was from 2013, ah well, here's hoping they respond!

I don’t like many of clay reconstructions. From the DDP cases, I personally dislike reconstructions of Kentucky Jane Doe 2001, New Britain Jane Doe, Mecklenburg Jane Doe who was already mentioned, I think Summit co John Doe can benefit from colorful reconstruction, also Gacy victim 5 and Mathilda Ottawa.

Here's my KJD 2001 preliminary recon.

Tom Green John Doe

Both look good.

Poor Apache Junction JD has the worst clay reconstruction.
And then they had Kimberly Ann Funk with a hideous black granny wig. Kimberly Ann Funk was in her early 20s and had straight blonde hair down to her butt.

Thanks, they could be better! I started working on the clay reconstructions because they are the easiest for me; I can see similar characteristics in them to build a photo of what they might look like.

No new cases added to the spreadsheet :(

I hope new announcements are coming, Othram has so many announcements recently, two of which are Canadian cases, hopefully it will Nation River Lady’s turn this year as well…
