When Burke hit JonBenet with the golf club, the Ramseys didn't invent a complex cover-up. They claimed it was an accident, whether or not it was. They could have done the same thing in this case, if Burke had been involved.

Killing their children and shoplifting are the two crimes women commit as often as men. I'm not sure you need a motive other than frustration and exhaustion.

True. But that’s not what the evidence says.

yeah but he didn't kill her when he hit her , there was no desperation to "save" him, he hit her before and not much came of it , so its not a far out of the realm that this is a behavior pattern , I'm sure he didn't really think she would die

So he is not allowed to have stated an observation he made? Who's to say no one else noticed the same thing? I'm guessing you would have preferred he said "She was the most perfect person ever".
I dont think i said he was not allowed to state an observation he made. I said i found it to be disrespectful considering Jonbenet is a murdered 6yr old child. I don't know who else noticed what, i didn't post about what anyone else thought.

If BR is allowed to state an observation made, shouldn’t SS, be afforded the same?

OMG! Burke stated his memory as a 9 year old boy that JonBenet's eye looked to be droopier than the other? Why, he should be sent to a concentration camp for that!

Just recently I was watching an amazing eulogy for an astounding man
who was a concentration camp survivor.

That same comment he made disgusted me too. It was like he had to demean her memory even more by trying to make her seem ugly in death. I will always think BR did it. That comment spoke volumes on what he thought of his sister. He was more than likely jealous of her and her beauty. He wanted to destroy it. He left that image for others to imagine it and deface her even more. Even in death he was jealous. Someone who had normal thinking would have said she was still beautiful and it made them sad looking at her for the last time. Or something to that effect.

I can't even begin to imagine how traumatic it must have been, as a child himself, to have seen the body and to have been present in the home where another child had been killed. He was describing his experience.

I think this was a fairly typical fatal child abuse scenario. Parents kill their children frequently. I don't think there is anything particularly unique about this case.

If i hadn't survived my encounter with child serial killer and pedophile Robert Black (albeit thanks to an amazing and alert member of the public) and i was laying dead in my coffin as a mere slip of a girl, not one member of my family, child or otherwise would be commenting or thinking about, let alone mention years later that they thought i had a droopy eye that looked weird. They would have many things to say and many other thoughts, but none along the lines of that. Trust me i have asked them. They watched the Dr Phil interview and were disturbed by the comments and smiling, nerves or not.My mother and father who are quiet and demure people were actually shouting at the tv, but they are quite sensitive about and hyper respectful to murdered children.
My older brothers are especially very vengeful toward the man who i called nightmare man, and would be on tv voicing that he was lucky the police got him first. Their thoughts and comments would not be along the lines of that their little sister flaunted herself either. My oldest brother said had i not been helped and i was now a case on sites like this, and the perp hadn't been caught, he'd be on these sites telling all who would listen every detail incase that one day someone somewhere would come up with something that nailed the S.O.B. and to keep my case in the news, they wouldn't stop.
I just want to add that me and my whole family are so sorry to the little girls that didn't have someone that noticed something unusual and came to their aid and we hope that one day little Caroline Hogg's resting place is discovered.
But this is about Jonbenet, who my heart goes out to and i really hope they get them sweetheart.

According to this Wikipedia article, which quotes a book so there's no link to that, Caroline Hogg's body was found ten days after her abduction.

So you think Burke was going around thinking "Oh, JonBenet. I'm so insanely jealous of your beauty! I wish I had your golden blond waves and curls!"?

That's twisting what the poster said. So mean-spirited!

Actually icetforme , that could be exactly what he's thinking we don't know but by the weird interview , its entirely possible !! and I am a mom of a Autistic Child, and she has some , lets say, "unusual " movements , no eye contact etc so I get it but the interview sealed what I have thought from the start BDI

My issue was with the spirit of the post, clearly mocking the op.

We don't know that BR is or isn't on the spectrum. I'm a disabilities specialist so I've had massive experience, as well [emoji4]

Burke was present in the home at the time another child was murdered. He was a very young child himself. I've actually been very surprised by the lack of compassion for him. He was describing a traumatic event; his memories and experience as a child viewing his sister's corpse. A lot of people smile when they're nervous or uncomfortable.

sorry Flourish I was directing that to Icetforme and totally wrote Your name EEKS sorry :)

I have a lack because
A. BDI
B.every interview I have seen says something is off
C. he is now an adult and we have never heard a plea to find the killer

I know he does not have to act the way the general masses think he should , I get that but still something is not right.

Heyya Scandi Scott
I never know what to say to a survivor.
Pleasantries become contrite.
