I think there are different levels of evil, but I can see where some would think of evil in different ways as well, and I can respect that.
I wish I could remember his name, but there is a guy who made a scale from 1 to 22, and the show he has on the ID network is where he goes over cases and puts the offenders in different categories. Not all of them are murderers. I'd love to see what category he would put Casey in, and I wish he'd put Cindy in a category too (I think he only does those who have been convicted, though). It was really fascinating for me to watch this show. I think it gives a lot of insight into the different levels of evil out there.
I think Cindy is a lower level of evil - not up to murder, but definitely up to immoral activities and making others suffer for her perfect world to keep existing. I think of it in terms of child abuse - if murder was the only evil, why would neglect and abuse still exist and be thought of so badly? Not every child dies from neglect or abuse either. So if a child is neglected or abused, that's not evil? I think it is, just not the same level as murder. That tells me that there are different levels of wrong when dealing with children. I think that also applies as to how adults deal with each other too. I can't say that accusing other people of a murder and treating them like total trash is not evil. It's not nearly as high as murder itself, but it is a blatant disregard for humanity and morals to justify a sick fantasy world of perfection that only exists for Cindy Anthony. That is definitely a level of evil to me. But no, she is not equal to Casey as Casey is the one who murdered her child. I would never put them on an equal level of evil.
