Earlier in this thread, I posted that I thought that Cindy was "bargaining with G-d". I also think that Cindy is relying on "magical thinking" to help her deal with the reality of a major crisis. Both suggest to me a person who is mentally unstable and unable to cope rationally with overwhelming grief and guilt. In many ways, I'm angry about Cindy's ongoing efforts to defend Casey's behavior, but I'm also sad that Cindy won't seek the services of a caring professional who would help her through this very troubling experience. Until she admits that she needs help in dealing with this life-altering situation, Cindy will never have peace of mind, body, or soul. jmo

You don't find narcissists visiting counselors for themselves...one reason why it isnt easily diagnosed. A counselor will come across it when the client is there to help them handle/control another person and THAT person has problems.

That's why they need to be dropped off on some remote deserted island in the South Pacific! We would never have to hear from them again!

How precious little girls are. Delicate tiny fingers and toes, soft skin, chubby little rolls, silky curls, that amazing baby scent.... Its a natural instinct to cling to that, to have trouble letting it go. How do you protect and cherish that little body one minute and then think of it as just a useless shell the next minute?I've seen a new side to CA, and it's even worse than I ever imagined.

To this day I really feel that Cindy regrets calling 911. If she hadn't, Caylee would have never been reported as missing, most likely never found, and in "Cindy world" everything would have been just fine! Just another little mistake to sweep under the rug!

And that hair matt still had delicate little curls at the end. That just about did me in. CA, not so much.

It does appear that she's bargaining and is relying on magical thinking, as you said. God might not want CA to use his name in all of this.

During the interview, CA said that she prayed to God during the trial for the answer to what happened to Caylee, and to her the verdict was an answer to her prayers that it was an accident.

CA, if you were leaving it to God to help reveal the truth of what happened, why did you lie under oath?

This was the number one most sick and disturbing comment that I heard.
You know how we have discussed how sociopaths see other people as objects - CA talked about Caylee like she was just a "thing" a "shell". Yeal she wrapped the comment with her beliefs - just like fca wrapped Caylee with plastic bags. It was a very sick remark.

Consider the source of those words. While CA's appearance is much softer these days, her ways and mannerisms remain the same. If you noticed there were moments where that snarl she has done in the past came through, briefly but it was there. She is still harsh. She is a sick woman. Dr Phil IMO knows this.

Boots-Ok what a sad thing to go through and your sentiments help me to see even more how we love! Normal people love, respect, support others emotionally through thick and thin and treat others with dignity in life and death. Your words have resonated with me and I am so sorry for you and your family. I am afraid of the lessons the ant fiasco has sent out on so many levels, its up to people like yourself to share your experience and strength. Bless your heart. The ants are such sick, perverted thinking people destined to reap what they sow.

I could be wrong but I thought CA said on yesterdays show that she has been receiving therapy for the last 3 years.

Thanks to everyone for your kind words. This has been the most heart-breaking journey I've ever taken in my life. These interviews and outlandish statements by CA just couldn't go without comment.

Everything about the A's and Caylee became too painful after KC's verdict....and I had to step away for a time to deal with my personal grief. It makes me ill that these people will profit one red cent from the death of this child. What a travesty. I really have no words.

Boots, I was very moved by your story. Caylee's case must have been especially hard on you. Your granddaughter was so fortunate to have so much love, while poor Caylee did not. I like to think they are heavenly friends.

people do use God's name in justifying themselves. how many kids were killed because God told the parent to do it?

First - a brain tumor??? KC may have a brain tumor??? Are you kidding me??? Let me tell you about a brain tumor. We just buried my 1 year old granddaughter who had undergone 5 solid months of hell in chemotherapy to try and rid her of a cancerous brain tumor. No, Cindy, KC doesn't have a brain tumor. Your lies offend every sense I possess.

Second - The body is just a shell??? You were attempting to minimize the fact that your daughter threw your grandbaby out like a bag of old dirty garbage. Here's how my granddaughter was treated...After death, her Mommy carried her to St. Jude's morgue after she had held her night and day for weeks. Once the Memphis funeral home had prepared her little body, this Mommy personally dressed her precious baby in preparation for the flight home.

A standing room only crowd came to honor this tiny child and her courageous family and she was given a service fit for the princess that she was. This is how we treated the "shell". Respect for a person's remains has been a long held tradition in most all religions and cultures.

Third - Justice for Caylee was the day KC walked and God sent you a sign that it was an accident. I totally agree with Judge Strickland. The jury set your daughter free - God had nothing to do with it.

Now, you go make your big bucks off of baby Caylee. I'll go visit the cemetery where my grandbaby is resting in love - just as she lived.

CA said again on Dr. Phil, that FCA was a great mother. Others said the same on the stand. Yet on Dr. Phil, CA said "We could have taken Caylee away if we wanted too..." This is a contradiction. Why would anyone want to take a child from their mother if the mother was thought to be a great mom? And the comment of FCA to LA that her mom said she was an unfit mother? Apparently CA DID think FCA was not such a great mom after all.

There is no love lost between Cayce & GA...I believe he hates her, not only because he holds her responsible for Caylee's death, but because she 1) did not want him to come back home after he & Cindy separated, and 2) exposed him as a molester. IMO, GA is a liar & a phony. Does anyone really believe he did not have sex with River Cruise? I think he came out on Dr Phil today with the statement about Cayce probably drugged Caylee because he is setting Cayce up for a wrongful death lawsuit. He knows Cayce will eventually sell her story & he is not about to give up his piece of the pie, even if it means throwing his own daughter under the bus.
