Thanks a bunch Legally Bland! Very much appreciated!

 See you then!

Edited to add: In the early moments of the prosecutor's statement re bail, one of Redwine's public defenders jokes and laughs with the other one. Not a good visual. I wish the judge had kept the bail where it was.

The Denver Post published an article today that erroneously stated MR had posted bail. The Durango Herald says that is absolutely not the case, he remains in jail: https://durangoherald.com/articles/178930-redwine-remains-in-jail-despite-incorrect-newspaper-headline

Good lord I hope not. How could he even have that money or someone else could have money to post it?

And if he does somehow make bail would he be monitored closely? Is he on a suicide watch I wonder?

Bail is now set at $750.000 - he'll need to come up with $112,500 cash, and the remainder can come from a bail bondsman. So it's still a high amount, but conceivable that one or more supporters could come up with the $112,500.

I don't know if he's on a suicide watch, that wasn't discussed during the hearing. If by chance he does make bail, the judge stipulated that he will have to check in with a court official every day and wear a GPS monitor. He will not be allowed to have any contact with Dylan's mother or brother. There are other stipulations that the judge made at the very end of the taped hearing, but I had a hard time hearing them.

I doubt that he would find any money yielding supporters...
And no way does he have that sort of cash.

I hope and pray he is never released on bail, or ever released again.

Dylan's family does not need the terror of having that killer out of jail. There is no telling what he might do next.

Bond lowered for Mark Redwine, accused of killing son in 2012
http://www.thedenverchannel.com/new...r-mark-redwine-accused-of-killing-son-in-2012

"The Durango Herald*reports Judge Jeffrey Wilson lowered it to $750,000 and allowed Redwine to post it with the help of a bail bondsman on Tuesday during his first court appearance in Durango since being returned to the state.

"One of Redwine’s lawyers, John Moran, said he has been falsely accused and has “endured hatred” from his community."

Mark Redwine's bond lowered; ex-wife says she's concerned

""I think it's important to stay where we are with the cash bond. Over the past four and a half years, and even prior to that, I have been in fear. I think Mark's personality has changed a lot during the last couple of years," Hall told the judge Tuesday."

"...he only has to come up with $75,000 in cash to get out of jail."

Snip

"Hall drove from her Monument home to La Plata County, where her ex-husband is in custody, to speak to the judge at Redwine's advisement.

"I think it's very important to stay where we are on the bond," she repeated, alleging that Redwine had sent threatening messages to herself and family.

"He's sent emails and text messages that have been very negative and very threatening," she said.

She is extremely worried that as of Tuesday afternoon's court appearance, there is now a path for Redwine to get out of jail."

I doubt if they'll ever get him behind bars again. I'm so sorry Elaine! Be brave, honey.

''Mark Redwine posts bond after bail lowered from $1 million cash in son Dylan’s death'''

False, apparantly the Denver post have printed a retraction also https://durangoherald.com/articles/178930

thank you! I hope he NEVER gets out. Who in their right mind would want to let him out? (I know ... there always seem to be a dumb sucker)

from your article at https://durangoherald.com/articles/178930

Mark Redwine remained behind bars on $750,000 cash-surety bail Wednesday, despite a Front Range newspaper suggesting otherwise.

The Denver Post set off confusion among media outlets Wednesday when the newspaper published an Associated Press story on its website with the headline: “Mark Redwine posts bond after bail lowered from $1 million cash in son Dylan’s death.”
Rumors of Redwine’s release are greatly exaggerated.

Glory!!! Thanks for the updated version. That made me so sad and sick to think he was out roaming again.
Stay where you belong, creep!

Why do judges keep giving this guy the benefit of the doubt? It was a judge who forced the visitation that ended Dylan's life and now another one is making it easier for MR to get out on bond. I believe that now that he realizes he's charged and going to trial, it makes him a much bigger threat to his other son and his ex wife. Apparently she thinks so too. The first judge didn't listen to her and look where that lead. What's it going to take for the courts to realize just how dangerous this man is and has always been? SMH

MOO

Kamille, I feel the same way. The Durango judge even agreed with the prosecutor that MR is a flight risk...why take the chance? Believe it or not, he does have supporters and I wouldn't put it past them to pool their resources for his portion of the bail ($112,500.).
