ITA. But right now we have HIPAA laws preventing that.
I'm wondering if there is some sort of out on that.

The CDC chief says there was "clearly" a breach in protocol that allowed a TX health care worker to contract Ebola: http://www.cbsnews.com/news/cdc-chief-on-second-ebola-case-there-was-a-breach-in-protocol/ …
Not an ER worker?

The person was wearing protective gear at the time, though Dr. Varga did not elaborate on the type of contact or the type of job the person has at the hospital.

The preliminary test was done at the state public-health laboratory in Austin and the positive result was received late Saturday, officials said. Other tests will be done by the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta.
A federal health official said that the C.D.C. expected to receive the sample from Texas this morning, and its test results should be available later on Sunday.
Ten of the 48 people were considered high risk, including seven health care workers, Mr. Duncan’s fiancée, Louise Troh, and two other relatives and community members, all of whom were confirmed to have contact with Mr. Duncan.
We don't know whether the guidelines are inadequate, the hospital didn't implement them properly, or the worker made a mistake.
??? Where did you see that?
Have you seen this very awkward video turned out by the Galveston Health Department on how to don and REMOVE a PPE suit after Ebola exposure?
This was done as an OFFICIAL instruction video for EMTs etc...and it is a joke, they do NOT sanitize the suit the wearer just struggles to get out of it while an unprotected "helper" fumbles with the bio-hazard bag holding the "contamination". And these are the "experts" that the rest of us are supposed to depend on?
Long video, removal starts at 7:30 mark.

Helper doesn't even have gloves on. She would be infected if this suit was actually contaminated with Ebola.
"We knew a second case could be a reality, and we've been preparing for this possibility," said Dr. David Lakey, commissioner of the Texas Department of State Health Services. "We are broadening our team in Dallas and working with extreme diligence to prevent further spread."

bbm, It's my opinion that the emergency room is not accepting patients because it is getting a scrubbing, I think that is where the wroker was working up till the spike in temp.
Ok so now do people in that area of Lower Greenville in Dallas need to be concerned? Will they have to go now and trace all of HER contacts ? How does this work?
A new batch of people who have to be monitored for 21 days? Which reminds me, Wow and by the grace of God , no one that was in the Duncan apartment got sick, right?
I wonder if this health care worker was one of the people exposed to Mr. Duncan on his first visit to the hospital when they sent him home.
