I agree. I think so far EJ likes jail and maybe even feels safe there. She probably hasn't had a lot of environments in her life where her basic need for security has been met. MOO.

I can't agree more. This is exactly why I think she is refusing to cooperate. She doesn't mind being there. She's mentally unstable. She spent time in numerous foster homes. She lost her parents. She lost her childhood.

I honestly don't think this is about her being cunning or having an ulterior motive. I think she feels safe. She enjoys the strict rules, the schedules and being "parented". She didn't want to be a mother. She has no family (in her eyes). She's not losing out on anything by being behind bars. She has a new "family". They are watching over her and giving her 3 meals a day.

Whatever happened with Logan, she hates him more than she loves life. I just can't imagine anything making her talk. I think the only possible scenario would be for Logan to pretend to want to start a new life with her. I truly believe for Gabe to be found, it's going to be by someone talking or someone putting the pieces of the puzzle together.

In the State of Texas an adoptive child must be in the adoptive placement 6 months before the adoption can be consummated in court. Maybe EJ is trying to make the 6 month deadline.
If she did place Gabriel in an adoption on Dec.26th then the deadline will be June 26th. On June 27th the adoption can be consummated. The court would be none the wiser that Gabriel was not placed willingly and legally if all the paperwork is in order to satisfy the court.

I really believe this is plausible. I believe in the illegal adoption theory, and I believe there was research done leading up to it actually happening. I think EJ knows exactly what she is doing.

I would really really love to believe this, but it would require that :

1) EJ truly wants whats best for her child

2) EJ believes this 'placement' is what is best for her child

If she had ever bonded with or shown love for him, I might be able to buy this. But she didn't diaper him, feed him, help him with developmental growth (didn't sit, spoon feed, or crawl yet?), or respond to him when he cried. She only used him as a tool to manipulate others.

I think she used him to 1) hurt Logan, and 2) get some financial gain for herself.

Refusing to leave her cell could be due to 1) extreme depressive state of bipolar that leaves her unable to even get out of bed, 2) narcissistic personality disorder of not wanting to show up in public without her hair, nails, and makeup done, and/or 3) grandiosity need to have much fluster made over her.

She may even still be stubbornly holding out for that visit from Logan himself, proving in her own mind that she has brought him to his knees and therefore is still the one in control.

Don't think any of it is about Gabriel's best interests. Never was.

What ever happens I don't think Logan should waste his time or his life getting information or getting back with Elizabeth. She has no other goals than to destroy him. I hope there is something that would get to Tammi since she KNOWS a lot!

Personally, given her actions and statements to date, I think the only person who could possibly get truthful information from Elizabeth is her attorney. Her attorney is the only person who can offer something that Elizabeth may feel is worth telling the truth for - less prison time. I'm not sure, however, that less prison time is appealing to Elizabeth right now.

If she's as smart as she appears to be, she won't tell him the truth, either, because then the potential defenses will really narrow down as the defense attorney can't put anyone he/she knows is lying on the stand.

What really has me worried is that the last known confirmed sighting of Gabriel was on December 26.

no witnesses have come forward and said that they saw Gabe with such and such couple.

There have been no confirmed sightings of Gabe being alive.

The only confirmed sightings that I am aware of is with the babysitter....As far as the 26th..to my knowledge..these were just pictures...But I am so with you..on when and who was the last person to actually see Gabriel..

That may be true of jail, but what about real prison? I can't imagine her feeling safe there, because we hear all the time how dangerous and violent it is, at least here in Texas, which is where she may end up.

I think what Momtective has tried to point out in the past is that if nobody took a serious look into the paperwork, etc. when the adoption is finalized, it COULD in fact go through and be finalized. If this couple is never found, it doesn't matter if it's not a valid adoption. As far as anyone that matters would be concerned, it WOULD be valid. I think the only scenario where it would actually become null and void is if Gabriel is actually found.
I know Momtective was very concerned that Logan needed to Register with the Texas Birth Father's Registry, I believe it was for this reason as well as others. JMO.

I sure hope SAFD does file these charges....if she thought she was in trouble already, she'd be in a whole heap of trouble now. Maybe it would be enough to open up her trap and Start Talking!

If she didn't kill Gabe, then she may keep her mouth shut because she'll have evidence of what did actually do with him (e.g. more info about who she gave him to, the name of the HG if he's a witness to her giving Gabe to someone, etc.). So it could backfire.

The other thing, and more importantly to me, is that if homicide charges are filed, then Gabe's missing person case has to close, and resources are cut off to Logan, e.g., services from the search organizations they're working with.

So, it's a double edged sword. I continue to think the only person she'll talk to is her attorney, in hopes of a plea deal on her current charges. But, based on her personality, mental problems, viciousness, complete lack of caring about Gabe, I think it's a long shot that she'll even talk to her attorney any time soon. I think in her mind, she's sitting pretty.

I noticed these on the case information, and just finally got around to looking them up. They're filed by party 001, which is the prosecutor.

If I understand correctly, from what I read, the prosecutor files these to increase the sentence that can be given. So, looks like the prosecutor is laying on the pressure.
