I could never find any hints on who the killers are. Any hints? That story stank to high heaven. What a tragedy!

LE knows who they are. Witnesses came forward. Someone is blocking an investigation and arrest. IMO.

I'll use only initials to ID the persons involved in this case into the death of Michael Divers. They are MM, DB, and JV. The matter was presented to a grand jury by a Spota stooge and there was no True Bill.

MM used the same lawyer for the grand jury that Burke used in his case.

Divers received multiple contusions from his confrontation with MM and DB. In one video I am told we see Divers on the ground after MM and DB sat on him for more than 10 minutes and you can see them leaving the still body of Divers only for MM to return 10 minutes later and give Diver's body a kick in the butt to see if he will move.

JV, a NCPD detective served on a NYS Committee to discuss the issues with License Plate readers used on police cars. Burke was also a member of that committee.

Why do I continue to be shocked?

They immediately began putting out disinformation Divers was drunk as a skunk and he had drugs in his body. Divers used Xanax. The BAC count in his blood registered barely enough to convict him of DUI had he been driving. There were NO drugs in his body. What I heard what happened in the grand jury is they used that information about not having drugs in his body to show the GJ that he was an excitable person that could have gone wild because he didn't have Xanax in his system.

The level of alcohol would have come from three beers he had on the beach and before he went to the public clubhouse to relieve himself. It was then he was attacked and struck down 4x, once over a short wall knocking a brick loose.

The Death Certificate states 'Death by Homicide" which can mean anything up to murder or justifiable homicide. I guess the DA felt the latter and not the former because the jury came back with a NO True Bill.

Hawk.?...everything you have said for years is coming to fruition.......Can you comment on any thought that Burke may have been an active hobbyist that may have engaged with others in the suffolk county in a group that engaged in regular meetups and arranged parties...or is this too out there for him?.......seems he had a pretty big ego and sense of indestructability. ......too far out there??

I can only tell you of what I have heard over the years. How much of it is true is anyone's guess. The guy was supposed to be a regular at many local strip joints who openly had sex with them. Some people have given me a first hand account. The Newsday articles citing an IAB substantiated charge he had sex in his patrol car with a long time prostitute, dope head, felon should be enough to convince anyone he is capable of most anything.

I have always suspected he was at least involved in many sex parties in Oak Beach area and if the investigators were given full rein to do a complete investigation it would have opened the door to far bigger scandals than what we see here.

still trying to wrap my head around any corruption that may be directly related to our victims.......the timeline of corruption seems to begin well before any bodies were found...so finding it hard to see any connection.....But then again...that's not to say the covering of ones own back sides didn't start years before in hindsight....

Still trying to keep myself informed......can anyone tell me why Spota would have had Bellones press secretary Justin Myers under surveillance....how did that fit in in any manner shape or form with the Macedonio enquiry?.......Setting up an undercover female officer to approach him at a bar conjures up many thoughts.....was this surveillance or an attempt to entrap him for some other nafarious reason....what??.........whos benifited the most out of all this?...or who would have?

Cocaine dealing, robberies, violent crimes..... slaps on the wrists.....a cesspool of information that would have been a goldmine for blackmail.... and most of these people got to keep their jobs, slink away with merely a mention.....get their Licences to practice law back...what the hell.....

This is one exclusive boys club, lining each others pockets...jobs for relatives/friends....exclusive contracts worth $$$.....

If the guy is married and he has a girlfriend.......Oh, my. The story does say they tried to put an undercover female next to him. Did it happen? Was it supposed to happen. Who was the undercover? Was it a cop or was it a party girl they had in their net? What possible reason could they have to follow a press secretary if not to blackmail him or Bellone into silence.

Somebody should start talking about Spota was going when he first met Burke back in 1979.

I think I get it.... Do you think that maybe Schaffer had friends who thought Schaffer could control Bellone??...

This whole appointment of friends to high places due to their political ideals is so foreign to me.... it probably does happen here in Australia too.. I think I need to be more observant......

Why is it that I think Schaffer and Mr Brewer had a close association....... I understand a political figure would accumulate alot of FB friends... But just as with any other person who initially starts up a page...usually the first few friends to be added are those closest to the person opening a FB account to begin with.......

Im sure Mr Brewer was amongst the first few posters writting comments on Mr Schaffer's FB when he opened his account...

Could be just a coincidence.......but still a curious angle......

And alot of this corruption seems to keep coming back to this Democratic Party....who just happens to have its main fund raising campaign monies through an address at Oak Beach.......Is that still where campaign donations are going?......4309 Oak Beach?

something is very wrong when targeted reporters that write about corruption have to carry a dozen 'burner' phones when communicating with sources. The 4309 is a post office box on Oak Beach that was created after they stopped using Stricoff's address as a money collecting dumping ground.

PUGGLE - in response to your post # 453. I think it is fortunate for Mr.Schaffer he didn't decide to go to Disney World the other day.......he might have stopped in at Pulse for a nightcap. THAT is part of the problem to what is going on in Suffolk and a lot of other places.

Did you ever notice when the cops take down a high priced escort service there is always the threat the names of the clients will be released, it never happens, does it?

But when the clients are ordinary schmucks their identity is spread out like butter on a bagel. Koch had the John Hour. Kathleen Rice had her Wall of Shame. IMO, both Koch and Rice had their own problems with their sexual identity.
