Federal Indictment: James Burke, Former Suffolk Co PD Chief, December 2015

I am a skilled researcher, in any language. To date I can not find any background on him in So. Ozone Park or Queens or any where else. I spent a few hours already on it. Therefore He and his brother were fathered by someone else. Burke was not his surname at birth. His mother married a Burke in between which I can not locate that record any where or Burke is her maiden name. Then she remarried, I believe had another son with JT.

Hawkshaw if you can privately message me any Italian names you know (or you may not know) going back to Queens.It will help me with my research to have a starting point. Because I have now discovered Burke is not that starting point. I know we can not publically post names.

Why theres an Italian name all over this thread.. Surely it can't be that simple... Hawk?

Didn't Burke testify as a high profile witness for Spota in a murder trial when Burke was 14? Did he get an alias after that or prior to testifying?

Listen, I pretty much put it out there and the Webmaster took it down. I was told putting family member’s names out there is a violation of policy. Earlier this week I thought I modified that post and put it up there again. Yes, he was a witness in a very high profile case: The murder of a 13 year old named John Pius Jr. He did not take on an alias after that.

I have no reason to believe his mother was a prostitute.

I can tell you if one did a Google Search using the mother's name and Ozone Park you will find such a name listed at the Howard Beach home of the late Jimmy 'The Gent' Burke. Then the mystery deepens because the woman listed at that address is not the same woman as Burke's mother. It really gets murky after that.

Hawkshaw, I have nothing but the ultimate respect for you. You are a real mensch. a stand up guy, and do not compromise yourself for what you believe in. Everything you have been touting about Suffolk County LE has come to fruition. No matter what people said about your comments you stood strong on your convictions. You are not afraid of them. It's my first post so please go easy I was just wondering if people know the Irish American background to James Burke? In this I mean is he an organiser of an Irish American Parade a big mover and shaker in Nationalist matters? I say this because the body parts, yes gruesome, of two of the victims were found in Manorville https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Manorville,_New_York

Also, there was a man who sold these bags. Burlap sacks. Is it possible he played cards with a group of business people, or maybe an individual who called escorts. Maybe one was a policeman. These people or person asked him for sacks. After hearing about the sacks was riddled with guilt and killed himself or was killed. The lady who ran away from people chasing her, Shannon Gilbert, was said to be incoherent but obviously frightened. Is it possible she was drugged with a pharmaceutical a dentist or doctor would have, half strangled and ran. A lot of these halfway houses are centres for abuse for the wealthy and uninvestigable, I.e. Mr. Burke and friends. So this group maybe involved in her killing and abuse of other kids but possibly nothing more. Burke may be well connected. Knows people's dirty business.


The sacks offer a different question. Have the fibre of the sacks been compared to the ones he sold and was there a match?


In relation to the killer. If Peeches is the mother of the kid, you have to suspect the killer went to her residence which might seem to be a break away from the typical MO. There the killer came across a kid and rather then kill the child left the child to die out in the cold. I wonder is this the reason the killer never met any of the victims at their place again and was she the first? Thus the feeling of guilt with the child and the lack of coldness they later show.


The Asian man offers something else. The method of murder may have been because the killer never suspected she was a he. The smash to the face or head is an attack on what they believe to be abnormal and there was a fear the person would be able to fight off a strangulation attempt.


The Profile:


The person knows their surrounds and is probably from New York City. They might like the park, Central Park, with it's water and people. After they kill, they bring the bodies as far away in as many different directions as they can. They know the prostitute and escort scene very well and could have been locked up or having children in the periods they were not killing. Maybe they have a conviction of rape or indecent assault. They may have spent their youth in Long Island and know the beaches and surrounds very well. They are a loner but know the sea well, someone who boats perhaps as lakes and sea are prominent in everything, they also know the currents and how they work. Maybe they work or have worked on the Long Island Ferry and so can visit their victims regularly. They probably knew Cherries and Peaches and thought the tattoo connection was funny. The question is did Cherries and Peeches know each other, and who is the one person who knew them all.

Who (aside from you) has this groundbreaking information that you keep mentioning? In other words, who are we (the public) waiting on to release said information? And can you give us an update as to when it will be released.

Burke had implicated himself in the murder of John Pius (T. 891-94). According to Gary Michel, "Robert Burke came up to the car [in which they were sitting] and said to Tommy [McCort], `Did you hear what happened to Canone's cousin,' meaning John Pius. Tommy said, `Yeah. What about it.' Robert Burke then said, `I did it. I stuck my c*** down his throat.' He then said, `I covered it up by putting pebbles down his throat, to make it look good'"

As James Burke pleaded to not to be incacerated due to his ailing mothers health.... Prosecutors said that Burke has two brothers who can care for their mother, and that one of the brothers was already living in her home.

According to several articles on the Pius murder Robert Burke was never interviewed by the police. They went to his home and he was never in. Left messages etc., and they were never returned. The story about the **** inJohn's mouth is true to the extent it was said.

Gossips is another story I have corroborated several times. I was actually there with a group of SCPD many years ago. They seemed to have the run of the place. The then $10 cover charge at the door was waived for all of us. For all I know Burke could have been one of the cops I met that day so many years ago.

What I will tell you is I will NEVER make such a statement again! I told the readers what I knew,or thought I knew and put it out there. VERY CREDIBLE people have been telling me Spota was going to be indicted 'next week' and a year has passed and nothing.

One thing that is fairly consistent throughout this thing is the FEDS seem to be working overtime trying to put it all together. One major obstacle is they are getting so much information it sends them into all different directions when they believe the information must be looked into.

Robert was never fully investigated. Detective Thomas Gill attempted to interview him....

Roberts stepmum always said he was out or at work...although she couldn't remember where he worked. ...... the link I provided...shows you how shoddy a colaborated alibi was investigated. ... or rather not fully investigated.

Yet if you read some transcripts ..... this Robert Burke was already known to police and was high on a suspect list .... yet...it all just disolves away to nothing...and no further mention..... its like he simply vannishes of the face of the earth.

PUGGLE, 10000 or so miles away gets it. The Writ of Habeas attachment says a lot. In one trial of Michael Q it was said the Q said to Burke and/or his pals that he, MQ was there and didn't hit the kid. All he did was to put the bike against the tree. BUT! the bike was found by the Pius search party a day or so later covered by leaves until such time John Pius Sr., placed it against the tree.

Make sure you read the clusterf... of Detective Palumbo causing these trials to extend over 11 years. GUESS WHO the now retired SCPD detective went to work for in the DA office??? If you said Jimmy Burke - BINGO!
