Funny I was just discussing this with my son last night because of this case. My child support came from Florida and I know I could request increase as my ex's salary increased and I know if he came into a large sum of money there are a lot of gray areas...ie inheritance (could not get money increase), bonus' at work - yes, lottery I would think so....however, I did a little research on i last night....any back child support owed cannot be raises because of "coming into money"....all that can be added to that would be court late fees...but child support going forward could be raised due to winnings..but there ALOT of variables

What do you want to bet DD told Abe that baby momma could take him for all he has etc when inf act untill there is an order he does not owe squat! I just can see the writing on the wall how she methodically took all of his money and when he finally sees the light she kills him. Its clear as day to me what has happened here.

I am so happy to see that DD is not the sharpest knife in the drawer either as I could see 100 ways poor Abe could have been murdered and the killer walks free. He had a drug habit, he had many people who owed him money, he had a bad habit of pressing people he loan for re payment. A sophiscated criminal would have slipped him a little too much whatever drug was his choice or some other plan, not the outlandish things this nutcase did. So I am glad she is the idiot she is otherwise she would be off scott free and rich to boot.

When an attorney asks to approach the court and they all go over to the sidebar I have noticed DM has headphones on. Is she listening to what is being discussed at the sidebar? I saw the infamous (IMO) Casey Anthony trial and I never saw the defendant with headphones on while all those lawyers were at the bar. Is it up to the defendant if they want to hear what is said?

Thanks, ACR. I missed the name, but when she started testifying, I realized it could be her. Is she the one who also posted here? I remember seeing posts about how she wanted to move out of the red house and all the problems she was having concerning the case.

Now, after seeing her, I realize she's not a terribly sophisticated woman. She sure had a lot on her plate back then.

You might be thinking of that Debbie M who worked for Dee Dee and was living in the Red house for a short period. Debbie M was on the witness list but not sure they're going to call her.

Florida Dept of Reveue works at the speed of a dead turtle....there is no way they had started making final demands...I do know that any money OWED at the time of the winnings...Dept of Rev, Irs. gets theirs 1st but not in figuring what he owed going forward!!! No way!!! If there was any such letter I am sure she made the letterhead and everything else ...he obviously would have had no idea~~~

I think one of DD's stories to the cops was she wanted to protect Abe from the IRS well since they got theirs 1st I didnt think he owed anymore except what interest he made and it appears to me he never left much of it anywhere legit where interest was accruing so IMO that was just another line of BS to get her grubby little hands on his money

This attorney (Hileman), has asked a number of questions here that try and make Ms. Haggins make conclusions which aren't valid.

One good example is the money in the safe. Under direct examination, she mentioned she saw $100 bills. On cross, he asked her how thick the pile of money was and if it had a brown band around it. She had no idea how to answer that.

It wouldn't surprise me if he's trying to say DD had lots of money prior to knowing Shakespeare. Fact is, it would be a good ploy on her part to make it appear she had lots of money. All she had to do was put a lot of $1 bills together with a $100 bill on top. A few of those piles would impress the casual looker.

Think about it! That whole scene was staged to impress her and Abraham. The same goes for her writing the $6000 check to fix his escrow account.
