I remember when Elizabeth Smart's dad took his poly, seems to me they came right out saying he was cleared.

Perhaps there was evidence in the woods behind the house that someone has spent some time out there watching the comings and goings?

The site wouldn't work for me.
Did she disappear before?

Also at 5 yo, yes my son ran down the road wanting to go to my mom's because he was mad at me. Thankfully I saw him as he was screaming he was mad and I ran after him...........he only got a block away from me. It was daylight. Yes, I smacked his butt and he never did it again!

Have you seen this? Apparently this is not the first time Haleigh has "wondered off" she allegedly wound up face down in a canal and the child had to be revived. Here is the link to video: http://www.fox30online.com/mediacenter/local.aspx and then click on "Haleigh Missing Before".

Hi - try going to this link: http://www.foxnews.com/ontherecord/

The top story is a large box featuring both the interview and the transcript of the interview. Greta clearly knew there was something shady going on...she began pretty aggressively asking Misti some detailed questions that Misti did not answer well.

Think about this for a minute...not saying it is what happened at all...but just one in tons of scenarios which could be possible:

Bio mom finds a way to talk to Haleigh and tells her she will come pick her up in the middle of the night if she won't tell anyone. She gets Haleigh to unlock the other door (reason the kitchen light was on) and go willingly with her. Bio mom sets the cement block up to stage a stranger abduction before getting Haleigh after waiting in the woods on the right time to get her. Suppose the things they found are not related to Haleigh, but to someone else (cig butts, water bottles, etc.).

This scenario crossed my mind too SS. Especially since I saw her interview on NG last night (bio-mom). If this is the scenario then it would be wonderful because I believe that Haleigh is alright if her Mother arranged this.

You also made a good point awhile back in response to someone, you said why not take the baby boy? What do you think?

Yes this was touched on earlier in the threads. Hence why mom and dad says she is so afraid of the dark and wouldn't have wandered off because of that incident.

I wonder if LE would release that info. Reason I'm saying this is b/c polygraph's aren't admissible in a court of law, LE only use tham as a guideline or basis for avenues to search for truth. In other words, it gives them insight. LE could very well have announced to the many media interviews that everyone "passed" their polygraphs, but the fact is that LE didn't release that info...at least not yet. I think that until LE has a hunch, we won't hear anything about the polys b/c it could come back to shoot 'em in the arse if they were wrong. I do find it odd that MC informed LE told her she passed the poly. In all my years of having a deceased grandfather that happened to be chief of police, a close cousin that's a cop, 2 very close friends that are cops, and exboyfriend that's a cop, and an exfiance that's a seargeant detective - none of them, not a single one of them would ever use the term "passed" with regards to the poly. If they couldn't say something like "Thanks for your time", or "Ok, that about does it", then they simply wouldn't say anything at all. They wouldn't discuss it right away if somebody reached high peaks in their poly. They would get their questioning system together and consult with their partners, possibly their detectives and experts on the poly, then they would resume to questioning the witness or simply state "Ok, that about covers it. Thanks for your time." and be done with it. The fact that MC stated that leaves me feeling a bit funny, for lack of a better word. I'm not assuming or implying guilt, but something seems off to me. I seriously wonder if MC was the one to leave the door open in error and was afraid to speak up. I really think this poor child was kidnapped and I hate to say it but more than likely is no longer with us. I'll pray that she is, though.

What I mean is...had they passed, Le would simply say the family is not suspect. They are saying however...everyone still is.

Re bold: Tim told me around noon that he'd be in a debriefing meeting with LE at 4:00, so I'm afraid that his wrapping the search up relatively early isn't indicative of anything. But we can hope, right? :)

Thanks Friday!
And a reminder to anyone who wants to donate to TES, I just found $5 I didn't know I had in Paypal and sent it on over to TES..It may only put a couple of gallons of gas in an ATV, but it helps!

ITA!! AND, thank God they didn't release the crime scene (house) back to dad and gf....I honestly think this is looking like a family type crime.

This is kinda my lean to thinking too. That's why I keep asking if anyone knows if all the family and close friends are accounted for at the house while search is going on. Maybe only took Haliegh cause she is more able to "go along" with it??? Also, only one has to be "lost" and custody is then questioned in her mind, maybe??

I am glad Tim is there as I think items found must have been found by his crew. Having people experienced with their knowledge, truly invaluable!!

I'm thinking with regards to Misty stating to the media that she THINKS LE is satisfied with her polygraph, LE could have just stated to her that they are 'pleased' with the results, etc. I don't find her too savy so their wording could have convinced her she's 'in the clear' if she has anything to do with this.

Praying for Haleigh each time I post.

GVS went after Misty very aggressively I thought also. She did not seem to want to talk to the dad, just Misty. I guess she felt she was the weaker link.

Someone mentioned on the last thread that it could be anyone that has this child.

Perfect example: David Westerfield (Van Dam) case!!! Nice home, engineer, quiet man, very meticulous, and extremely intelligent, but he has an appetite for the young neighborhood girl he met with her Mom selling him girl scout cookies. He breaks into her home after a wild night out at the local bar slamming several bacardi and cokes. David got in the house through a locked sliding glass door, gets past the dog that cannot bark, and lucks out that the alarm was not set that evening. He abducts Danielle while her dad is right in the next room, thinking the dad is out of town on a ski trip, because that's what he gathered from the mom in their brief conversation. Talk about balls! These animals plan, stalk, and kill with no remorse. They look normal, and harmless, but they are twisted.

DazzlinDeb,

ITA:You can Never let a persons affluence be a factor in whether they will be a molester or not, in fact imvho they are almost more dangerous because they hide it better with all the "stuff" around them.

Taking Haleigh away from Ronnie would hurt him the most, imo. Daddy's little girl.

(I didn't say she was not in extreme danger even if bio mom arranged it.)

Prolly she thinks she is clear cause she wasn't arrested on the spot????

I don't think it was ever reported that any items were missing from the child's room, a blanket, stuffed animal, shoes, clothing, anything....is that right?
