If I was a parent of a missing child I would be insulted if any of the Anthony's offered their assistance, an abducted child and a child murdered by the mother is 2 different things altogether. No offence to George, I like him, just not the rest of the Anthonys.

If it was me, I'd have told George to turn around and go home ..

IMO, the brick is a stage. The father said the back door was locked, it was not regularly used and that it was difficult to lock....door had to be forced closed before lock would engage.

Maybe the gf put the brick there since she went out somewhere, and was using it as a means to get back in. If the father parked out front when he got home, he wouldn't notice her going in the back door if she had to make a mad dash home in case he arrived home from work early. If she was nearby at a neighbor's maybe she didn't worry too much about keeping doors locked.
My sister's trailer's doors used to be very hard to unlock with a key, i'd end up hollering outside the windows for someone to let me in since even with a key, i'd struggle.

SATSUMA, FL -- The grandfather of Caylee Anthony, the little girl from Orlando found dead last December, is in Putnam County to offer support to the families of Haleigh Cummings.

Haleigh has been missing since she went to bed Monday night.

George Anthony is now meeting with Haleigh's father, Ronald Cummings. Authorities tell us the two will have lunch together.

Caylee Anthony disappeared last summer. Police found her remains last December. Caylee's mother Casey is charged in her killing.

I think George going to see Ronald Cummings, Haleigh's Father is a good thing to me. He has to channel his pain somehow or he'll end up back in the mental hospital. I truly believe his attentions are sincere. I'm praying for George to come through this. He has the weight of the world on his shoulders.

From what Haleigh's Father said it was approx. 90 miles which would be approx 1 1/2 hours without traffic.

An Amber Alert was issued Tuesday morning for 5-year-old Haleigh Cummings​

SATSUMA, Fla. -- The 17-year-old girlfriend of a man whose 5-year-old daughter disappeared early Tuesday morning told Channel 4 that she woke up, found the kitchen light on, the back door wide open and the girl missing.Haleigh Cummings was last seen at 10 p.m. Monday in her father's mobile home in Satsuma, where Misty Croslin said she put the girl to sleep in a bedroom with her 3-year-old brother. At 3:30 a.m., the girl was reported missing. By first light, a massive search was under way and an Amber Alert was issued.Croslin has been interviewed by detectives and volunteered to take a lie-detector test -- which she said she passed -- but had not spoken publicly until midday Thursday when she spoke to Channel 4's Laura Mazzeo."I didn't hear anything at all. If I'd heard something, I would have got up and I wouldn't have let them take her," Croslin said.
