the roomate is a male, "mw" according to a post from a. I was reading through chelseys "places" on her fb. she seemed to have ups and downs, one thing struck me oddly is that she had a post from early in this year about running away to the casino do not quote me on the exact wording, but posted it from N ft myers anyone know of what casino she may have enjoyed? Also super odd is there is one individual whom had repeatedly made false posts/statements of her car being found. [modsnip] Clearly I have found not much from the computer, and nothing of substance. Will be headed out to a nature reserve near M old home. [modsnip]

I have no background in this, and everything stated is speculation and info I have came across.

Chelsey sent her brother a "cryptic text", and the locater text. When her brother could not get her to answer her phone, he drove to her house and woke up the roommate. (Her brother had been with her earlier in the evening and knew she was planning to go to Ashlee's house.)Her brother AND roommate went to Ashlee's house looking for her. When they did not find her there they went driving around looking for her.
Her brother and her roommate are very close friends and they all live nearby each other.

Okay, at least we agree the cryptic text is different than the ping.

Did MSM announce that the brother went to the house to wake up the room mate, or is this just info leaked from SM?

I'm sorry, I don't know what "SM" means.

The brother and roommate going to Ashlee's house is coming from what I was told by someone close to the situation.
I am not sure exactly what Ashlee said to the reporter. And why she didn't say the brother was there as well?

Did Ashlee say whether or not she answered the door when they "banged on her door"?

I don't think any of these people had anything to do with her disappearance.

I am hoping she just wanted some time alone and now that everyone has made such a big deal, she is trying to find a way to come back. That is my hope, but it's not looking good at all.

I am afraid she is in the water, although they have searched there. Is there a chance they missed her when they were searching?

Will LE just stop looking? I know that investigations are not public, but I wonder if they are interviewing people?

Chelsey, where are you?

(There is also another young woman missing from Estero, Florida. Estero is part of Ft Myers, but very south. And this 28 yo woman was last seen walking down Coconut Rd in Estero on July 8th. I don't think there is a thread for her on websleuths,)

This is a link to the Lee County Sheriff's Missing Person's FaceBook page. In the missing person's poster it says that Chelsey has been known to abuse drugs. I don't think that is fair. Does it change people's attitude about finding her?

Please come home.

I agree that it isn't fair. I think a lot of people seem to just brush it to the side when they hear or read that the person is an addict.

Not mine. But it can help explain illogical behaviour when you are trying to think what a person may do next or where they might go or be found.

I think it helps people in the local area with ideas of where they might be or where they could have been headed, the probability of an accident or getting lost. To me the truth is better, "cuts to the chase," so to speak.

I think she will still be looked for. Does the cryptic message have anything to do with her possibly being spotted in another town, with others? Does the cryptic message to her brother make sense to the current situation? Does the cryptic message relate to drug use in some way? I think THAT message is important to finding Chesley.

I'm still hung up on the roommate waking up, leaving the comfort of her bed in the middle of the night to go look for Chelsey, even going outside to another person's house, waking them up at 4:30 am. That's super weird and just a little too convenient and random.

While I can see why this might seem weird, I can definitely imagine a scenario where I would be inclined to do this. If I am out late drinking with friends, I have to know everyone got home safe and vice versa. If I didn't receive a text within a timely manner I would probably not just go to sleep, but rather attempt to locate them. If my friend's house were right around the corner it would be even easier to just pop over and make sure everything was alright.

I just read the police flyer which states that the brother missed some calls from her in the early morning hours. This explains why he went running over there at the wee hours. I wish I had known that before I wrote my suspicious post.

There is some chatter on the "Bring Home Chelsey Green" FB page that she was spotted YESTERDAY in Labelle, Fl. The person who spotted her called Chelsey's mother today. I wonder why she didn't call yesterday when she thought she saw her?

Also people are reporting helicopters over the Ft Myers shores area. (The area she went missing from.) Is it possible to search from the air like that? Maybe the helicopter was for a different reason?

It's so hard to believe the stuff on FB.

Maybe I'm too optimistic - I'm rarely accused of that! - but I think to the people that matter, it won't make a difference. People who are concerned and looking for her to will keep doing so. The ones who say "oh, she's an addict, nevermind" wouldn't have been helpful anyway.

My question(s) are, did she use with the friends she was with that night? Or had she been clean for a while and possibly relapsed after leaving A's house? If she relapsed after leaving, it opens up a different path for the investigation, because they can look for dealers and/or people she was known to use with.

Her being in the water seems possible, but obviously she decided to go somewhere else rather than home since she wouldn't have had to drive near water to get home, right?

Thank you for the link. I wonder why it says unknown what she was last wearing - didn't she leave a friends house to go home, so wouldn't the friend know what she was wearing...

Somewhere in the hundreds of posts on various pages, it says she was wearing a camo t-shirt and jeans with blue daisies on the back pockets.

The more time that passes, the less optimistic it seems.
