What kind of forensic evidence can be obtained from freshly laundered clothing? I wonder if he used bleach.
Bleach on dark colors would be obvious- as it would discolor the clothes.
No college apt. machine would eliminate trace evidence. Heck- I don't think my washer could either...

I don't really know if the body is in water, as it could be buried, but I definitely have a feeling that Pedro threw the shovel, tape, etc. in a lake or swamp near wherever he put that body.

Does anyone know where they found the Blazer? I may have missed it in the article.

"A few weeks ago, Pedro Andres Bravo asked his roommate a question.

"Do you know anything about the 34th Street wall?"

"I don't. I'm not an artist. But I think if you want to go out there and paint, it's all yours," his roommate told Bravo.

Bravo seemed to understand, and he did go out there. He got "a ton of spray paint," his roommate Erik Skipper said.

Bravo repeated several stenciled drawings of Reptar, a character from the cartoon Rugrats. When he finished, he initialed his work of art P.A.B.

On Thursday night, the art remained — and the man who painted it sat in jail."

Why do you think he would paint a picture of Reptar, of all things he could paint???

O/T - I just wanted to give major props to the Ocala newspaper for all of their articles on Christian. Lots of details that others have left out. And an easy, light hearted read too.

:rocker:

Skipper said earlier that day, Bravo wrote on the apartment whiteboard asking about student tickets for the UF-Kentucky football game. Skipper answered the question and went to bed. When he woke up on Friday, Skipper said there was a new question from Bravo about ticket amounts, meaning Bravo had returned home, between the time Skipper went to bed and woke up, at around 9 a.m.

So this tightens the timeline to under 12 hrs of Pedro being unaccounted for.

8pm-10pm Thurs. last seen by 1st roommate

9am Fri 2nd roommate states Pedro was home

Is this the first we've heard about 2 roommates?

Nope, in the roommates personal article he said that he didn't go to bed until 4 am meaning that Pedro had basically been gone from 10 pm to 4 am in the morning. He woke up at 9 and saw the letter. Meaning Pedro could have been home anytime between 4 am and 9 am.

I'm trying to update the timeline. Can anyone tell me when the roommate helped change the tires?

Looks like Monday, 09/17/2012:

Bravo reportedly told investigators he bought the shovel and duct tape to fix his car after an accident, but Skipper said his car had two flats tires and a dent on Monday.

“He said he had hit a curb and it would have to have been a pretty big curb because the dent was massive,” said Skipper.

A receipt for a shovel, dated Sept. 16, was found in Pedro’s bedroom. They’ve been back and forth, searching for anything, clues, evidence that could lead them to the whereabouts of Christian.

I can't help but think that "big dent" has something to do with why Christian was disappeared 3 days later. Why would PB lie about how it occurred (assuming he did)?

I was up there all day yesterday searching and if he isn't found today, I plan to go up again tomorrow. The police presence was huge: Sheriffs Dept, police, SWAT, dogs, horses, ATVs, foot searchers, helicopters. I met the family and they are SO nice. They had food and just kept saying, "Thank you" to everyone. In my group, they hugged each and every one of us.

Mosquitoes were terrible in some areas (not necessarily swamps, just wooded areas) and some areas were loaded with ticks. I'd like to know if Bravo had either mosquito bites or had ticks on him anywhere (those little suckers can be hard to find and if you don't look for them, you might not even know they are there sometimes!). Not that either of those things would give a definitive location, but it might help. In one place, I left covered in mosquito bites when I hadn't been bitten in any of the other locations. One guy got NO ticks where he was yesterday, but 58 in the location he had been the day before!

Anyway, I plan to head up again tomorrow if he isn't found today. We had some rain yesterday, but that didn't stop anyone! My drive home was a little miserable, but I will do it again in a heartbeat!

Thank you so much justbeachy for searching and reporting back to us! Warms my heart

The ticks can be awful there - and so small they're hard to see. TMI but i once stripped completely while hiking because ticks are pretty much my only "phobia". Bleh. Thanks for doing so much!

I wonder if he drove it off road and maybe lost control, hit a tree or big rock, etc. (maybe scouting out a place for after the altercation....can't bring myself to say dump site)

I was thinking something worse. :(

It is interesting to me that the big quote in his room about the beauty of death is by OSCAR WILDE. I wonder if maybe Pedro was shamed/confused because he was in love with Christian, and things went sideways and so he felt compelled to get rid of him?

Has anyone said why they were at Streits Motorsports? It is way out of the way for students unless they went there for something specific. There are no bars, sporting events etc in the area.

The area around Cabana Beach seems more logical and Streits is a red herring. If Bravo bought a shovel to dig a grave in the swampy area near Cabana, therefore needed the bug spray for the mosquitos and ticks, somehow had the flats getting to or from the area, it would make sense that he could drive back on the flats. WalMart is just down the street from Beat Buy and in the general area of Cabana.

There is a swampy area across 20th Ave and just to the east of Cabana. We have had people lost in the area for several days. I am not sure of the access to the area from 20th. With the rain we have had, there is a lot of mud, and if he got stuck, he could have slid into a tree and caused the dent. Haven't figured out how to get two flats in the woods other than a curb trying to get into the woods.

Just my general thoughts. Streits just doesn't make sense. Unless, someone wanted a helmet. Then the GPD's officers comment about looking for areas where a two wheeled vehicle could have access. Did Bravo have a scooter?
