There are still too many blank spots that need to be filled in for me, so I am praying that LEO can get this creep to crack and start talking!

Me, too, and I favor the "good old days" ways of making him crack.:gavel:

Count me in! It's just too hard to write Dale out of this......or am I to believe that this burglar charged with her murder killed her and took away the life that did await her with her child-rape loving viewer Daddy?!

"NORTH PORT — The Florida Department of Law Enforcement unsealed an arrest affidavit Thursday in the murder case of 6-year-old Coralrose Fullwood of North Port, showing the youngster had DNA from her alleged attacker under her fingernails.

The DNA from murder suspect Patrick Dewayne Murphy was also reportedly found on the girl's body and on a comforter found with her body. Coralrose's body was found Sept. 17, 2006, in a vacant lot two blocks from her home.

Murphy faces death by lethal injection or life in prison if convicted after being indicted by a grand jury Sept. 2 on first-degree murder and capital sexual battery charges in the rape and killing of Coralrose.

"We expected that indictment and we feel very confident justice will be served in this case," Lewis said. He also said it is still possible other suspects will surface in the case.

Assistant State Attorney Lon Arend's office dropped kidnapping charges against Murphy, saying they needlessly complicated the case against him.

I was struck by this from your link, RiverRat:
Although Murphy's DNA reportedly linked him to the Fullwood murder a month ago, Lewis is not satisfied Murphy acted alone.

"We've got an excellent case but the investigation is still open and active," Lewis said.

That's why I included it, Deb! So far, nothing is adding up for me on this out of nowhere suspect and arrest........

The kidnapping charge was dropped for some BS reason, IMO. To me, it is just as serious of a charge are the murder, rape and burglary and should not go unaccounted for.

I don't like the kidnapping charge being dropped either- ridiculous! Unless........perhaps they are thinking it might be hard to prove it if CoralRose's own father carried her out?!!!!:furious:
That's my version.

Stay tuned......no link yet, but WINK News just ran a small blip about the investigation of the murder......and the Father.

Side Note: Adam Tebrugge lost his re-election for Public Defender. You will also remember him as the attorney for Joseph Smith, murderer of Carlie Brucia.

Not.

NORTH PORT -- While looking for his missing 6-year-old daughter in September 2006, Dale Fullwood asked Patrick Murphy and his friends if they saw her. They said they would drive around looking for Coralrose.

Police later learned that DNA from Murphy, 28, reportedly matched samples taken from Coralrose Fullwood's body. She was found in a wooded area near her Calabash Lane home Sept. 17 -- one hour after the two acquaintances spoke.

Information contained in 3,587 pages of court documents recently released by the State Attorney's Office in Sarasota shows Murphy knew Fullwood through ties at the now-closed Motor Sports Cafe in North Fort Myers, where Fullwood worked as a bartender. A former waitress told investigators she saw Murphy at the bar two or three times and he always sat in the corner and talked to Fullwood. She told police she didn't know Fullwood had a family and that she never liked him because of his "strange behaviors."

In August, Murphy, who was incarcerated in Hardee County on unrelated charges, was transported to the Sarasota County Jail and charged with the kidnapping, rape and murder of Coralrose.

The waitress remembered Murphy because he had a tattoo on the back of his neck similar to the tattoo she has on her back, documents show.

Fullwood's former employer admitted there was child *advertiser censored* on the computer at the cafe and told investigators Fullwood had access to it.

After the murder, police seized 10 computers at the Fullwood home. Documents show more than 30 pages of pornographic photos and video clips with titles that include incest and rape between a mother and son, amateur teenage sex home videos, and "hardcore underage lolita kiddy *advertiser censored*."

Witnesses told police Fullwood shared some of the explicit material with customers -- possibly including Murphy.

In her interview with investigators, Coralrose's mother, Ellen-Beth Fullwood, said she "did not recognize" Murphy, who has a history of burglaries, drug usage and theft charges.

She said she didn't know if her ex-husband, Dale, who is in prison for possession of the child *advertiser censored*, knew Murphy. Police questioned the other four Fullwood children separately and while none of them recognized Murphy's photo, one child said he "looked familiar from her dreams" -- but didn't recognize him otherwise.

Police believe Murphy -- who witnesses say while he lived in North Port used methamphetamines, was a "swinger," along with his girlfriend, and was good friends with a man who openly worshiped Satan -- did not act alone.

Documents show the 45-pound Coralrose was badly beaten, raped and strangled. The comforter given to her after her aunt died of cancer was wrapped tightly around her neck and was covering her head. Investigators noted a wound on Coralrose's head and cheek matched a faucet in the Fullwood home."

I would like to know if any drugs were found in CR's body? She could have woken up during the attack.

These last posts telling what happened to Coral Rose are just horrible. The poor little girl. Dale is vermin and swapped child *advertiser censored* with the swinger Murphy.. What a great dad he was despite what his family thought of him (sarcasm). If the faucet matches the wounds, then I can't understand why the whole lot of the bunch aren't charged with murder or being accomplices.

Thank you for those links.....but now I am even more disturbed after taking in this new info:

"Coralrose's mother, Ellen Beth Fullwood, was placed under hypnosis by a special agent of the Florida Department of Law Enforcement in March 2007 and questioned about the night of Coralrose's abduction.

While hypnotized, she said she heard the front door open twice, and that she heard her husband, a man named "Frank" and another young man in the house. It sounded like they were looking for something, she said. She heard Coralrose say "Daddy" and her husband told the girl to "go back to bed." Moments later, Coralrose asked: "Why are you doing that?" and again Fullwood told her to go back to sleep. Then, the young man said: "Maybe they are over here." Forty-five minutes later, Ellen Beth Fullwood heard the front door reopen. She heard the washing machine start and the garage door open and close.

Ten days after Coralrose's death, detectives went to the Medical Examiner's Office to look at the girl's injuries. They took with them a Delta faucet that was identical to one found in the Fullwood's bathroom. The one-inch laceration on Coralrose's head was the same length and contoured shape of the faucet. Also, the child had abrasions on her jaw line that matched the pattern of a non-skid flooring of the tub. An FDLE agent thought this was suspicious, because there was no blood on Coralrose's head injury, suggesting that her scalp had been rinsed or cleaned. The medical examiner ruled her cause of death to be asphyxiation and blunt force trauma to the head."

This is MAJOR!

No wonder you are disturbed. That is very disturbing info. I have to wonder if the mother ever asked the father about that and what his replies might have been. That poor, poor little girl.

WTH! How can hypnosis cause that type of recall if someone was supposedly asleep? Why didn't the child's mother wake up with strange men in her home and for sure if a beating and killing was going on. That's probably the strangest account of things that I have or ever will hear.

Interesting that the quilt was covering her head isn't it! Usually the face is covered when the killer knows the victim....like a dad.

"Ellen-Beth Fullwood cannot escape the agony of losing her little girl.

Fullwood spoke up this week about the latest evidence revealed in 3,587 pages or court documents released recently by the State Attorney's Office in Sarasota. Among the information in those pages and pages of information was testimony the alleged killer of 6-year-old Coralrose Fullwood knew the father, Dale Fullwood, and had joined him in watching child *advertiser censored* on a computer at a North Fort Myers bar where Fullwood worked.

"I'm not happy this (information about suspect Patrick Murphy) is coming out," Ellen-Beth Fullwood said this week. "It hurts my children."

"I did not know him," Ellen-Beth said of Murphy. "I have not read the large file from the State Attorney's Office. I wasn't aware the media would be allowed to see it. All this brings back bad memories for my family and me."

Ellen-Beth said she is doing her best to prepare for Murphy's trial.

"We will all go back to the counselor," she said of her family."

Sweetie - this is yet one more Florida case, sooooo we kind of need to expect nothing short of Strange.
