He’s dead. You can make any judgements you like about any of these victims but they were murdered in cold blood. All 3. And anything Keven did or was alleged to have done justifies his murder. You seem to be relishing in their past misdeeds.
The most important thing to me is that there have been accusations (truck theft... engine theft... not feeding a baby...) But nothing has been proven. We have none of the peripheral information and facts behind the accusations. I, for one, am not going to try and convict from my computer desk here at home. Most likely, all that will come out in court during a trial is the one fact; "TW accused KS of stealing his truck and selling the engine from that truck." Only because it was said to be the catalyst for the attack and therefore is relevant to the case, imo. Condemning and dragging victims through the mud is not good defense strategy and I don't think these issues will be part of the case. So, I'm not sure it's anything but judgement on our parts coming from no good cause and going to no good resolution.
As to the killer: Murder is not justified because a victim is less than "stellar citizen" or because the killer doesn't have running water or sewer. Some of the people on that property aren't even involved in the murder case and now their photos are plastered on the news. People all across this country live lifestyles unlike our own. People live in tents and abandoned buildings and campers hidden in the woods without running water and they don't kill anyone.
We're not all born with the same deck of playing cards, advantages, love and caring from our families as opposed to constant abuse and we don't condemn children who live in poverty but when they grow up, and still live in poverty, we turn on them sometimes. We blame them when they have no idea how to change their lots in life and have never been given the tools to work with.
And, even a successful life can take unexpected downturns into homelessness through no fault of the person.
I won't even go far into the cost to replace a broken water main or sewer line... or multiple small leaks in the under the cement slab floor pipes. It costs many thousands of dollars to have someone come in and jack hammer up your slab floors to fix pipes and, if you have sand settling, you will eventually have to do it here in the state of Florida. So, if that's where the "no running water and no sewer" came from then they have my sympathy. I only bring it up because what seems on the surface to be "Crazy! What? No water or sewer?" ... Often has an unfortunate reason behind it... it's not they they don't care! They can't afford to fix it.
Or maybe they can't afford the water in the first place.
None of it, imo, has anything to do with the fact that, one night 3 guys decided to go fishing and they ended up on the ground beside their trucks, murdered. I just want to see justice served and the sooner the better.
