Lots of good insights in the last couple of pages--I especially liked the outside-the-box idea that a woman other than TS could have driven the van. I wonder how the perp or perps feel watching Sheriff Scott's press conference?

The reporter, Katie Jones, stated that the Lee Co. Sheriff mentioned the other two doctors' deaths [Dr. Bradstreet and Dr. Henendal] with ties to FL.

http://www.scrippsmedia.com/fox4now...-doctor-deaths-raises-concerns-311847991.html

Dr. Teresa Ann Sievers' mysterious death in southwest Florida comes just weeks after a string of other deaths involving doctors from Florida who also practiced alternative medicine.

Erin Elizabeth is in a relationship with a high profile alternative medicine doctor. She says she’s a little worried about this recent trend. If it is a coincidence, it's a big coincidence" she added. Also, Dr. Patrick Fitzpatrick of N Dakota and Dr. Jeffrey Whiteside from Wisconsin are missing since June 29.

Perhaps the murder investigation is complex, filled with intricacies, and have lead the investigators to something "big". It could be that the connectivity is due to the other holistic doctors being murdered or mysteriously missing. The treatment of patients with a holistic approach cuts into the Big Pharm profits; especially if holistic cures for cancer, autism, etc were being discovered.

Yep - Perhaps there is connectivity to Big Pharma.

Great post. I'm thinking that the "big deal" is not that Dr. Sievers' murder is connected to the holistic doctor murders, but rather perhaps her murderer took advantage of the timing - planted evidence to point LE in that direction.

ETA: If Big Pharma was involved in some vast conspiracy to kill holistic doctors, and that's where this investigation is going, I highly doubt LCSO could maintain jurisdiction. We'd see fed involvement, for sure.

Maybe LCSO isn't the lead on the case.
As we've discussed here last week, LCSO website for this case has DISPOSITION as "TURNED OVER TO OTHER AGENCY".

Lots of good insights in the last couple of pages--I especially liked the outside-the-box idea that a woman other than TS could have driven the van. I wonder how the perp or perps feel watching Sheriff Scott's press conference?

I keep going back to the van because a) its the vehicle the victim presumably used to commute home b) traffic cameras c) van is still in LE's custody.

If the unsub developed an intricate plot, we can assume plenty of planning and premeditation went carrying out this crime. I will speculate that the unsub realized s/he needed a way to enter/exit without drawing the attention of neighbors. And I think they knew the van would provide a perfect cover. Right into the garage. (One of) the perps could have been a passenger picked up en route to the home, or perhaps the unsub was caught on cam in the van alone; reasons for this include disposing of evidence; appearing to be the vicim to throw off LE's timeline, TOD.

For what its worth, we don't know what time she arrived on Sunday. It could have been early, the afternoon. In that case, would the victim remain home the rest of the day night? If she went out, wouldn't she drive her vehicle? Because LE didn't seem too concerned with the white vehicle, I'm assuming she did not drive her car that Sunday. IMO, after the victim phoned her husband a planned or unplanned meeting of some sort occurred. Maybe a "friend" needed to be picked up, maybe this friend's car broke down. Either way, the unsub knew she had landed and had a plan to get themselves into the van and thus into the home.

Maybe LCSO isn't the lead on the case.

I'm pretty sure this is referring to the turning over of evidence to another Florida agency (FDLE). If the record referred to a federal agency (FBI, ICE) we would not hear another peep from anyone in LSCO. Also, it was turned over rather quickly, I don't think LSCO could determine federal jurisdiction so fast in any case.

YES!

. . . I didn't notice anything really unusual between the 2 women. Comments anyone?

Annie Lisa (nee Tottenham) is never shown in this version while LS is speaking. There was a longer version of the same interview where LS spoke at greater length, possibly about continuing Sievers's work, where to me Annie Lisa stared daggers at LS. Of course, her facial expression may not have meant what it seemed to me. In the past I found that video by searching on both women's names, but I couldn't find it this morning. Thanks to NIN for giving us Annie's correct name--in early news accounts her name was usually given as Annie-Lisa Tottenham.

Yes, probably turned over to FDLE, which is what I presumed last week after finding the Fox4 news Facebook posting (Aug 13) stating "FDLE is assisting the investigation".

"it was turned over rather quickly" When was it turned over? I haven't found a date for when LCSO "TURNED OVER TO OTHER AGENCY".

6/29, 9:43AM. Same time as the "report taken" on Jarvis.

I believe that date and time, 2015-06-29 09:43:24 is the original date and time of the 'incident' as reported by LCSO responding to the scene. It is listed as Occurred Date. There is not a listed date for Disposition.

I don't think REPORT TAKEN and TURNED OVER TO OTHER AGENCY could be the exact date and time - literally. It is still confusing that there are two different Incident Numbers.

This gentleman, Dr Nicholas Gonzalez, was Suzanne Somers health guru. She has some comments about him on her FB page.

7) July 21, 2015 Dr Nicholas Gonzalez, a holistic alternative MD has died suddenly. I’ve met this brilliant man and my other half (also a doctor) had interviewed him several times. His clinic sent out an email to his patients that read in part: “The cause of death was cardiac related, it appears, as he suddenly collapsed and was unable to be revived. Dr. Gonzalez was in excellent health otherwise so his passing is quite unexpected.” It is reported that he was alone the time of his death. Our heart goes out to all his family and friends (many of which are mutual to ours) In fact, some mutual friends wrote a beautiful write up about him here. I let them break this news gently as they knew him better, hence the reason I didn’t break this story.

Also, in the comment section are two very interesting videos.

Here's the video I referred to earlier (though embedded within a longer newscast):

Annie Lisa can be seen staring at LS at approximately 6:34 in the video. LS is speaking, as I recalled, but the newscaster is speaking over her, so we don't know what she was saying. Again, Annie Lisa may just have been understandably unhappy with the circumstances, but she sure looks annoyed with LS. Note her sympathetic comments about Mark Sievers just after the possibly unfriendly look at LS.

This makes sense.

THE FBI Frequently Asked Questions

If a crime is committed that is a violation of local, state, and federal laws, does the FBI “take over” the investigation?

No. State and local law enforcement agencies are not subordinate to the FBI, and the FBI does not supervise or take over their investigations. Instead, the investigative resources of the FBI and state and local agencies are often pooled in a common effort to investigate and solve the cases. In fact, many task forces composed of FBI agents and state and local officers have been formed to locate fugitives and to address serious threats like terrorism and street violence.

To me, Annie Lisa looks more drained and distraught with grief. She looks like she's hanging on to every ounce of energy that she can. We need to pray for her strength.
