It seems that the Namus ruleout list includes cases from 2007. Makes me think that they updated the estimated PMI's for each case. I'm no longer going to just assume 2001 was the cut off date.

I was asking because I also have a case from after 2001 where I think that they look similar to one of the Ft. Myer's eight. But they went missing in 2004. I didn't know if there was a reason for the 2001 cut off or not.

Missing person cases like these catch my attention. Especially in scenarios like this. He was last known alive in Florida in 1977, but Oregon police are investigating his disappearance. So there’s a chance he was alive after 1977 and a chance that whomever was/is looking for him resides in Oregon. Therefore, they might not be thinking to look for men who were found much later than the initial disappearance and much further away.

I looked at Phillip too, and it was a toss up between this one (Phillip had fractured both wrists previously and UID showed a previously fractured right wrist) and this one (tall, possibly a muscular build). Although neither jumped out at me, the circumstances certainly fit. The recons have different features, but they’re all starting to look alike to me.
