It’s a real mystery why they didn’t. This is where Donna says the boys “will never have another dad.” And Charlie starts in about how it’s such a tragedy because he knows he might be recorded.

Agreed - and they're already having secret convos even before the bump, even before the murder ( the ' please erase this text Charlie' messages from Donna to Charlie in May, regarding Harvey's July birthday )

Plus these people use secret codes for their intimate conversations
plus they've lied about DM's death so often it's easier to stick to the lie and just pay lip service ' such a tragedy, those poor boys...'

How many of you think Charlie will testify?
I thought yes but looking at him today he looks deflated. I wonder now if he's gonna bottle it and not testify.
Must be gnawing at him right now

Last throw of dice to protect myself & potential Pros of my mom vs inherently too cowardly to testify vs Should I expose my cowardice to the world by not testifying?
Decisions, decisions....

60 Yes/40 No testify . :p

Listening to the conversations between SG and KM following the second bump on May 5, 2016 is very telling: SG's brain has continued to deteriorate since his 2014 mission to Tallahassee with his bestie, and KM must have blocked all memory of LR!

It's very clear to me in both the first and second bump that the Agent is referring to SG/KM who are being looked after yet the brother in prison (LR) is hurting bad because his family isn't getting any biscuits for his tea.

Of course SG/KM know the bump is referring to LR, right?

My question is did KM truly convince CA that only one of her friends close to her (SG) was involved in taking care of CA's problem and there's nothing to worry about?

We know that KM and SG were also being surveilled at this time and SG actually gets picked up and charged a couple of weeks after the bump (possession of cocaine). Police are closing in now and both SG and LR are already behind bars when they are soon after indicted for murder (June 2016).

Charlie is praying or reciting something
This is followed by him bowing his head.

Is he really going up now? ( to testify?)
pensive. Then runs fingers around shirt collar, then drinks from water bottle. Dry mouth Charlie?

yes he's testifying

1 other witness prior! Judge just asked Rashb & Rashb seemed to confirm that

then Judge asks Rash - do you want me to colloquy the defendent now?
Rashb says he'd rather wait til after 1st witness
Judge laughs ' keep em guessing til the very end'

Kristin Adamson, wendi's divorce lawyer is up

eta
FSU educated, member of Florida Bar, recites all the rest of her credentials.
she says she was retained Oct 2012.
She filed relocation motion almost immediately after she was retained
' there's nothing wrong with relocating, Tally is a transitory kind of place, relocation requests are often filed but she accepts that they're not often granted. She won one once in her career.

Did you share this stat with Wendi? Yes, I did tell her. Contradicts herself. Says she told WA it was unlikely but also told WA that the circs of her case meant it was worth doing.

Kristin says that WA's reaction to denial of relocation was ' pretty calm'
but in same sentence used phrase ' she decompressed' later

Are you aware of the $1M offer to DM? Kristin replies 'No'
is there anything illegal about this kind of offer? Kristin replies 'Not that I know'

Charlie didn't flee because the State Attorney Willie Megs made a public statement saying that they didn't have probable cause to arrest Charlie or any other Adelsons. Which is completely bonkers and the prosecution will not bring up, but its why.
We also know from the wiretap of KM talking to SG's attorney (Jim Lewis) who's talked to an attorney very close to CA that he is keeping silent and his eyes open.

Meanwhile, local law enforcement was upset with State Attorney Willie Megs for not moving in on any of the Adelson's so they started talking to the US District Attorney for help. IMO, LE reaching out the the US District Attorney may have been responsible for getting their foot in the door with LR who was in federal custody.

And what a nasty move for Megs to speak publicly about an ongoing investigation. I'm not disagreeing with him about the lack of probable cause considering they did not have a deal with LR until October 2016. JMO

How is she being allowed to give these wordy answers? Guess it’s not worth objecting. This does not help the defense case. The fact that these petitions are not usually granted makes it more likely they turned to other means to effectuate the relocation. This witness is very nervous And seems like she has things she’s trying to get in.
