I respect your opinion, and if it is determined that this is what happened, I will 100% agree with you. But I will say, based on the fact that Zimmerman had a gun in his car, I don't think that will be the case.

The fact that George Zimmerman had a gun in his car makes him more culpable in this shooting? Why?

If he didn't brandish the gun then mere possession doesn't make him culpable in my opinion.

GZ is proud of his guns. I still recall Zimmerman pulling his gun out to show LE after a traffic stop and LE saying 'please put your weapon away sir' I always suspected that Zimmerman revealed his weapon in the other case which is what caused TM to run. IMO

Don West wouldn't say what state #GeorgeZimmerman lives in now. Said Zimmerman was in town for Mother's Day. #WFTV

The other big news out of #GeorgeZimmerman shooting incident is that Don West says Zimmerman has moved out of Florida. #WFTV

Thanks for that. You were right. I hadn't heard he moved.

He better register his truck in his new state soon and give that tag back to FL! I don't know about his new state, but in FL you only have 10 days. Good ol George...he sure does do things the way he wants to rather than the way the law tells you to do it.

You know he didn't turn in his plates and register his truck in his new state? I don't. If you have a link, I'd like to see it. TIA

People can hate on GZ all they want, it's their right, but I'm tired of this irrational hatred for GZ. I, for one, believe justice was done in the TM case and I wish him the best of luck.

Oh, sure, of course. Everyone gets to have an opinion. People post their opinion and other people comment on it and give their opinion.

You gave your opinion that they both probably have some culpability. In return, I gave my opinion that I don't understand how it's possible to decide who has culpability when so little is known at this point.

It's also my opinion that if someone is the target of a crazed stalker, I blame the stalker, not the target.
GZ will ALWAYS be assumed guilty of something in every incident that occurs the rest of his life by many. There were some kooks saying he paid those black nationalists to put the bounty on his own head.

Yeah but him not brandishing the gun is his version.

Apperson' version is he did.

And I think it's important to note that Apperson filed two separate police reports on GZ eight months ago. One for GZ threatening to kill him and another for GZ hanging around in the parking lot of his work a few days later. GZ filed no reports against Apperson. By all accounts, GZ was the aggressor.

When these two saw each other on the road today it is entirely possible GZ waved his gun around and mouthed off. His own attorney confirmed his window was down. In response, it is entirely possibly Apperson pulled out his gun to protect himself because he feared for his life. I'm okay up to there. If GZ's window was still down pointing the gun I would call it self defense all day long, but the fact that he rolled the window up indicates to me that he was withdrawing, but Apperson shot anyway.

I'm on the fence. I need more facts and details.

By all accounts? What all accounts? This Apperson guy was claiming Zimmerman was after him. There were no other accounts.

Looks that way. In this incident, GZ didn't shoot at Apperson---not even AFTER he was shot at. He never fired his gun. How often does that happen when someone has a gun and is fired upon?

And his window was rolled up when he was shot at. He wouldn't be rolling up his window if he wanted to shoot someone, would he?

He legally carries the gun. If he didn't brandish it the possession of it doesn't make him culpable of anything.

But waving a gun around is a lot different than aiming a gun at someone or pointing a gun at someone. In that case, I could see shooting someone but I'm not seeing why Apperson felt the need to shoot at GZ through the passenger window, rather than just drive away and call the police.

For those who were saying that CA has been keeping a low profile, DM has her as the headline story right now.

I think GZ wanted to use the gun as a threat and was stunned when the other guy had a gun as well. I'm wondering if there was more than one shot fired and if there was some use of cars as weapons.
Maybe GZ rolled up his window after waving his gun and used his car in a manner that caused MA to feel in fear of his safety. Hence MA firing off a shot at Zimmerman after GZ rolled up his window.

In a video on a news station's article it showed his truck being towed away. He still had a FL tag.

I don't have irrational hatred for him. The fact is he has been arrested three times since killing TM, all for violent crimes. And then allegedly threaten to kill this guy a few months ago. He is a loaded cannon. Moo

I think your thought is an interesting one. What makes you think that? Are there any facts/evidence to back this up? Do either of the cars have damage to them?

This guy claims Zimmerman was after him. But he is the one who shot at Zimmerman. Zimmerman didn't shoot at him. Funny that.

From the photos of Zimmerman's car, I don't see any damage except the bullet hole in the window.
