I'm in awe that anyone would say that Rebecca killed herself to be a martyr. Really? She has been bullied since 5th grade? Nearly two years of this. This was not back and forth type stuff...it was gang up on one girl type stuff. She "went with" a boy...that Shaw now (well not now) dates...so, how on earth is Rebecca in anyway responsible for this? She was hurting...in a dark dark place...after long term torment...Shaw is a sociopath in the making...Rebecca just happened to be her target...nothing more. I am here...I know the story...indirectly...but, I will add IMO. I do not typically become defensive...but...for Rebecca and for Grady Judd...I will.

The video shows Vosburg repeatedly punching a boy's head while another older boy is seen laying on the floor, seemingly unconscious. "They were all laughing, cussing and throwing F-bombs everywhere," Judd said, "which clearly indicates to us that this is a normal way of life."

Vosburg is being held in county jail without bond until her first court appearance Saturday.
 
I was very poor growing up. Think two room trailer, sleeping on the floor while sharing 1 pillow with three half siblings, free lunch program, etc. Now picture me showing up for school in used, dated and worn cloths, while smelling like stale cigarettes and not bathing because of water being turned off. Hair cut was mother hacking away will dull scissors. Now guess how much I was bullied?.. This story brings back horrible horrible memories. There is no excuse for defending a bully. These two girls make me sick to my stomach.

I left home at 18 never looked back. Vowed I'd never be that girl again. I Waitressed through college got CS degree 3.87 ave. got programming job with fortune 50 company and living the dream. Pretty sure that I'm not mentally unstable bUt at 16 I wanted to die because of constant bullying.
 
This..........thing had the nerve to say, "I was having a bad day". WTH!!!!!!!!! OMG. She went too far that day? Yeah right and the language the kids are using? This is normal in this home IMO. ANd before this came out she had to nerve to get on TV and saying her daughters account was hacked???

ANd poor Rebecca is the sick one for committing suicide?

Vivian go sit down somewhere. Oh that's right you're in jail!

Good Grief! :eek: Seems like being a bullying was their way of life. The sister, the mom. Seems like it was just a learned behavior. Sickening. :puke:

I wonder what happened to the biological mother of Guadalupe Shaw. Sounds like the whole family is screwed up. Raising them to be criminals. :stormingmad:

No one is trying to make those who commit suicide due to bullying a matyr, but its seems that blaming them isnt gonna help. Somehow the person who commits suicide is mentally unstable, but taunting and wishing death upon another person is sane and rational behavior for a kid? HOw about the bullies be called to task and be labelled as mentally unstable as well? Lets reveal any underlying mental issues the bully has.

I just get sick when those who are kind hearted and sensative get served up like lambs to the slaughter. Somehow they are defective for not being tough enough or cowards for commiting suicide. When the bully at times is a budding psychopath.

Bullies have always existed but now its beyond teasing. Its mean spirited hatred and downright harrassment that no adult in this world wouldnt be prosecuted for. I cant harrass someone at work, but at school it seems to be o.k. or normal in some districts. I cant imagine wishing someone was dead or getting online and saying you dont give a ****.

Mark my words, there will come a point where instead of killing themselves the bullied will start arming themselves and killing others. Not just shooting up schools, but heading to homes and killing family members too.

Bullying can be a sign of psychopathy and/or personality disorders. Andrew Cunanan, Eric Harris, Joran van der Sloot, Jerry Sandusky, and Osama bin Laden are psychopaths.

In regards to Phoebe Prince, I saw those bullies no different from those examples of psychopaths I have mentioned.

Having children does not always make people more mature. There are lot of immature parents who live through their children. Sad, isn't it?

There is a study that people from fatherless homes are more likely to commit crimes. It is regardless of age of parents.

But, I managed to protect my kids from bullies and managed not to bully them!

He needs more "camera time"... I think it was a fluke he got CA off, so he may believe he's capable of getting this one off... he likes being on the "wrong side".

Wow. Just got done reading this thread. Big fat two thumbs down. Hate this bullying stuff. Despise it! It's absolutely despicable that Shaw wrote idgaf after Rebecca's suicide. Wth?!!

& forgive me but I don't feel sorry for her at all. No way does she get a free pass because her home life wasn't stellar. I could tell ya'll horror stories about my childhood - we're talking major abuse - but I turned out good and never once did anything to hurt another living soul! Yes, I was bullied as well. People make choices, even as kids. Shaw CHOSE to be a bully.
