SOUTH DAYTONA -- The missing red car of an elderly woman who vanished two months ago reappeared on her street Saturday, bringing police back to the neighborhood three days after they found a man's corpse buried nearby.
The red Ford Taurus -- which still had Goldie Mae Robinson's handicap parking tag attached -- joined two other cars in police custody, all of them seized during the search for the elderly woman whose 78th birthday was Monday.
"It's just another piece of the puzzle falling together," Robinson's son Fred Roberts said after neighbors discovered the car Saturday. "Every little piece makes the whole puzzle, and I'm staying optimisitic that we're going to find my mom alive."
