Ever since I saw the video of CB describing Don’s last flight accident in Pensacola, I’ve looked for scars on Don’s face- but see none. CB said Don’s tearducts were damaged & that he was severely disfigured. All the pics I’ve seen of Don show no signs of that. The pics in the link above are from 1997.

All the info we have about Don was probably tailored by CB to suit "her needs". There's no evidence Don made that delivery at 6:00 am, as there is also no evidence of Don transferring his properties to Costa Rica.

Today would be Don's 82nd birthday. Whatever happened to him, i hope his true family and real friends find closure soon.

Happy birthday, Don.

Wow. This video really puts this case in proper perspective. It pushes all drama & wealth & absurd, exotic details aside & brings us back to the man. He loved animals, loved his kids, his mother, and maintained a respectful relationship with them- and his ex-wife- his whole life.

These unsolved cases really bother me. I hope Don’s body is found. But honestly... this may be one of those cases that could be tried with overwhelming evidence. I think LE has most of the pieces- just maybe not quite fully assembled yet. Jmo #JusticeForDon

From forged signatures, to a forged (and suspicious) POA, to conflicting statements, odd coincidences, mysterious events, prior and posterior, to Don’s disappearance, LE has (now) a ton of evidence to help solve this case… or big part of it.

There is a group of amazing sleuths that have been “assembling” and verifying all these pieces and finding new ones, hopefully, justice will be served soon.

I watched many of Carole Baskin's youtube diary. Many things she stated in the Netflix documentary, are totally different in her YouTube diary. I still have yet to make a list of all her discrepancies. But here is a few:

Why she left home at 15:
Netflix series: She stated she was raped by 3 boys and her family did not stand by her.
  • Youtube video marked 10/10/1976 - States she left home because her mom accused her of sleeping with a boyfriend that she wasn't sleeping with. However, she was seeing someone else and was having sex with them, but was offended that the one her mom mentioned was a gentleman and her mother accused him.
  • Youtube video marked 05/05/1977 - States she left home due to a fight with her mom about having sex, and ran away with Jim Jones (she mentions he is a cop now). According to her, Jim Jones was AWOL from the service and they ran away together.
  • Youtube video marked 12/18/1977 - She states she was raped at 14 years old (Netflix she states 15) by 3 boys 2 years prior to that.
  • Youtube video marked 07/16/1980 - States she ran away from home in 1976 with a guy named Jim Jones who played in a rock band.
Her videos also discuss how she has heard voices, that Mike Murdock tried to give her an exorcism, how she has Bi-Polar depression, and her promiscuity. To me she has very disorganized thinking as you would see in those suffering from Mental health issues. Definitely leaves plenty to be concerned about.

Regarding your observation about the mental health issues, CB projects her own "issues" onto others. Everyone on her circle, that she can't have control of, are liars, backstabbers, suffer from mental illness etc. But she IS the one with the "disorganized thinking"! Projection!
And just a little correction: The video you mentioned is from May 25th, 1977 and the person she says is now a cop, she's referring to her brother Chuck.

Thank you for the clarification. And yes she definitely does project her issues on others. I have worked with so many aspects of behavioral health and psych units. The disorganizational thinking is such a sign of mental illness. This is a person that has created a web of lies and stories, to continually be a victim when in reality she is the perpetrator. I am not convinced she did this on her own. I am pretty sure she had help,

She was the mastermind behind JDL's disappearance. And i suspect she had been planing it for over a year. JMO

Yes- disorganized thinking! Compulsive liar. Another discrepancy is her talk about Don’s disfigured face & damaged tear ducts supposedly from his last plane crash when his landing gear got caught on a Pensacola power line. Disfigurement is not evident from photos of Don shortly before death.
 
Has anyone come across any more info about Carole's brother and his partner's interaction with her the night her car supposedly broke down on her way from the grocery store? I can't find any confirmation from law enforcement officials that it actually happened.

That should have been easy to verify by interviewing the "partner" who has yet to be named.

Why would she start walking in the middle of the night instead of using her cell phone? They were rich business owners. No doubt they had cell phones. As a matter of fact, she alludes to Don having a cell phone when she said he called her crying from inside a dumpster. That should also have been easy to confirm.

IMO, whether it happened or not, that story was to provide a "credible" alibi for her whereabouts (being with a cop that wasn't related to her) while Don was being murdered.

She said she and her brother were estranged but wasn't he there when they broke the locks to get into the building to take Don's files? And he just happened to be driving by when her car broke down? I wonder if his style of living changed after Don disappeared.

Of course, all of this is just MY speculation and opinion. I don't want Carole dragging me to court for slander.

These are all brilliant questions. I hope LE is vigorously investigating one of their own. I’ve found it odd that with all the blabbering & blithering CB does- and all the extemporaneous details she tosses in to every tale- that there’s never been mention of the name of her bro’s partner that night. My guess is that her bro was never on duty that night, not on patrol, and there was never a third party present. I think Don’s body (or the large meat grinder) was disposed of that night & his van driven to the airport. Moo & speculation.
