Interesting, the jury is asking for the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, 5th Edition, also known as the DSM-5. Doctors used it during the trial when discussing Scott Nelson's mental illnesses. Judge White says he can't give it to them because not in evidence

#ScottNelson - Jury note: Please provide of the DSM 5.

The jury has a question. The attorneys and Judge White laughed a bit when they read it, but no idea yet what it is.

I'll be away from my computer for a few hours and therefore won't be posting tweets.
It seems that Court TV will be keeping track with Verdict Watch and will go live to the Nelson trial each time the jury returns to the courtroom. That is what happened Wednesday evening, so expecting the same today. This morning, Court TV has been giving many recaps of the trial.

#ScottNelson - Jury note: "Please read us all sections from Dr. McClain and Dr. Prichard where the words bi-polar and PTSD are used." Remember yesterday they asked for the DSM 5 manual.

Jury has been given the response and sent back to the jury room. Nelson: “I was wondering if there’s any way I could stay up here for thirty minutes, because it’s taxing for the SRT and they’re having issues chaining and unchaining me.” #WFTV

The judge is bringing in the jury to tell them: “Members of the jury, it will take at least thirty minutes for the court reporter to locate the testimony you’ve requested. I cannot tell you at this point whether the parties will agree on any testimony to be read back.” #WFTV

A deputy is going to go and tell the jury they're still working on it. The plan now is to reconvene at 2:30. #WFTV
  2. Field Sutton‏Verified account @FSuttonWFTV 3m3 minutes ago
Judge White holds up a large stack of paper and expresses concerns about how long it will take to review. The state and defense have once failed to reach an agreement on what's to be read back. The court is ordering them to try once again to come to an agreement. #WFTV
  3. Field Sutton‏Verified account @FSuttonWFTV 6m6 minutes ago
The parties have reconvened. They're haggling over what will be read back to the jury. Simmons: “The state is trying to get more in about personality disorder, which is not what the jury asked for.”
