I'm sure that letter is just a red herring from the Michael Dunn supporters. If those kids had a gun, why didn't they return fire?

From the letter; "I can't tell anyone else cus (sic) they kill snitches. They should not have lied."

My God, a Hollywood writer would be fired for trying to foist that into a script as trying to sound real.

This is a horrible tragedy, but I can't help but laugh at the thought of someone believing that would help Dunn. I hope it's handwritten and they get analysis from some potential suspects. If they could link the writer to Dunn that could go very, very badly if it was brought up in court. JMO

Absolutely! Each of the witnesses had a different view and neither of the two who left the Durango left its vicinity. Anyone can write an anonymous letter to someone and would never come up in court. Dunn has a lot of outside support and any one of them could have sent that letter.

That's why I hope against hope that the prosecution makes a big deal of it. From what I recall from yesterday, the tripod is still in the truck or could be replaced there. A good expert witness could simply do a video from Jordan's POV. If this doesn't happen, anyone who is likely to side with self-defense has a "plausible" explanation for Dunn's "error" in this case.

They needed to start doing this from the get-go in this current trial and they haven't.

Unless they do some better lawyering, there will be a NG or hung jury.

The irony would be hilarious if it wasn't for the fact that this was a murder trial. The prosecution let the writer of the article go because of his affiliation with folio yet unwittingly let a guy on the trial who not only doesn't like Angela Corey but doesn't believe she can prove what ever case she is presenting and that there will be reasonable doubt before it's even started. I agree, this guy shouldn't be there. Even though the remark was only made during jury selection it shows he shouldn't be there. That's why this process is so tricky. Anyone can say anything to get on a jury.

If they took every eligible juror in Duval county who doesn't like Angela Corey or who thinks she's not as effective as an SA should be, then they'd have been at risk of having to change venue just due to lack of eligible jurors.

The person folio interviewed isn't on jury. But he told folio that someone on the jury said derisive things about prosecutors. #dunntrial

It appears they want to get this over ASAP. I'm assuming MD goes back to jail every day.

He's not going home any time soon, if ever. He still hasn't been sentenced for the 3 attempted murder convictions.

This is a very serious issue. If the jury was tainted by hearing these comments, it could cause a mistrial and it would be all over until a new, unbiased jury is selected.

The defense could also ask for a change of venue again to get an unbiased jury from another county.
