All scholarly articles dealing with the selective prosecution of statutory rape laws.
OK...I will admit that I didn't take the time to read all of the articles from your quick Google search, which I could have done myself. However, I didn't see any articles about selective prosecution of statutory rape laws. I saw articles about selective prosecution with race, but not specifically of statutory rape cases nor of gays. That particular article also states that it is rarely a successful defense.
I also see articles on statutory rape laws, but many of them are simply anecdotes and discussions of whether they are valid in an increasingly permissive society. Many discuss the fairness of having a boy statutory rape victim having to pay child support to the mother, who also happens to be his rapist.
If you can dig a little deeper and find me a specific article or two specifically related to selective prosecution of statutory rape cases (if you can find them as related to same sex statutory rape that would be even better) I would be happy to read them.
But for the time being, I will remain firmly on the side of the laws as they are printed in the books as influence by my own 46 years of experience in life.
