I looked today and didn't find anything new. They didn't give any details about how long they are planning to search or what size the area is.

They probably have to search through many layers of garbage at a time with an excavator. It must be very tedious and time consuming. The fact that he threw out clothes and toys might make it easier. If they find clothing they can identify as belonging to Leila they could be close to finding her body.

Either way, it might be like searching for a needle in a haystack. I hope there is another update soon.

It has been raining daily here in South FL, I'm sure the awnings are to help keep workers dry. It looks like they also deployed some tents that have AC. I bet because of COVID the workers doing the search have to suit up and then decontaminate after their shift.

It almost sounds like she wanted someone else to take Kam. The 2nd lady says she has not heard anything from the 1st lady since that day. I find that odd, too. I know she did a couple of interviews and I felt so proud of her finding Kam safe and sound but now I'm starting to wonder about her.

The suspect could have dropped the toddler off on the concrete, around the entrance gates, most apartments/condos with entrance gates have mulch, plants, and grass; at the entrances... In a South Florida our dirt is sand.... It is easy to have pretty clean feet if you walk around most areas here...

Also the heat has been well above 90, feeling like over 100, due to very high humidity... I imagine they have to take frequent breaks to hydrate and cool off...

Did they say if he lived with, or had access, to his female friend’s home; the one that was in the hospital? Has that been searched if he had access? Obviously he was operating out of somewhere... MOO

Probably why it turned so horrific quickly: Sure she did not drive that far with a toddler to be living out of a car, and he apparently only wanted her car, to sell; surprised he did not sell the toddler and mother for trafficking; Florida is a hot spot for human trafficking...
Thankfully the child is safe.... MOO

Portable awnings in South Florida might be needed:
We have extreme heat during the day, in the 90s with humidity,
plus occasional showers during the day; it is tropical here...
Frequent breaks are needed, and hydration; in order to cool down...

Does it mention if the glass was broken from the inside or outside? Was glass present or was it an old break?

As far as I know, window was shown on security footage as intact prior to disappearance then broken during or after Leila went missing. Glass was found on floor inside of car but we don’t know if it was broken from inside or outside. Some have speculated that Leila locked her and kam inside and SR broke window to get to her. Moo
