Don't most cell phones allow a 911 call even if the battery is dead?

No. You need the battery charged to turn on the phone or make a phone call. If one has a charged phone but no cell provider such as At&T, Sprint, etc. the phone can still be used for 911 purposes.


The boyfriend's story doesn't sit well with me either. I hope Lonzie is found soon, alive and well, and just lost.
It sure doesn't look good though.

I am beyond confused. So the car that was supposedly left running while the kids were in it during the middle of the night, was actually left running around 8pm? And it wasn't left in front of the apartment where the kids lived, but in front of a guy's house? I'm having a hard time wrapping my brain around what's going on. Does anyone have a working timeline that can maybe clarify what my brain isn't grasping??

The BF says it was taken from in front of his home at 2 am. However, where the car was found, a mile away, the man who lives there said the car had been there since 8pm yesterday.
