Here is one such case in Australia, and thankfully the little girl was found alive:

I haven't heard of cases of abductions for Drug debt except when dealing on west coast with some of the Mexican cartels and out of the states. Here in the states, the drug kings prefer to stay away from kids. You can buy you way out with drugs but mess with a kid- too much trouble before and in jail.
