I usually stick to the missing and unidentified, but since I live in the area, have a permit to carry and work with all guys that carry, this is a common sense issue. If you are carrying a weapon for defense purposes, im not sure why you are looking to instigate situations that aren't endangering you or anyone else. If the shooter wrote down the license plate, took a picture, and sent it to the police.. what would of happened? I think that is the missing element of this situation. alternatives to confrontation. Obviously we all thought, because we know guys (and gals) of all races that is "looking for confrontation guy".
This guy was looking to start a confrontation and his history of doing such doesn't surprise me. Should the victim have assaulted him, no.. should he have lost his life?, no.. avoidable conflict brought on by instigation makes this even more tragic. I suppose if this logic holds up, anytime someone assaults you you can kill them and that, thank God is not how the law is written. If the guy pushed and he reported him, fine the victim is in the wrong.. if you think this guy is going to kill you in broad daylight over a parking spot and talking crap to his wife.. I doubt that highly..
On a more controversial note, its like domestic violence in an aspect, one party might provoke someone into an altercation (which is wrong) and if physical violence occurs, does that give someone license to kill the person they might have goaded into a violent situation? You have to argue both sides of a coin to see the truth sometimes..
