So frustrating to hear once again after a shooting: "He was on our radar." Ugh.
 
Orlando mayor on CNN just gave exact numbers

39 found dead inside (+ 1 - the shooter) so 40 inside
9 died at the hospital or enroute
and 2 were found deceased outside the club.

People can die from multiple gun shot wounds anywhere on the body. Gut shot, arms, legs, neck...all have major arteries. Massive blood loss can lead to a quick death.

If the femoral artery s hit, you have perhaps a couple of minutes before you hemorrhage to death.
 
CNN security specialist is reporting that ISIS websites are "cheering" his kills. Pains me to type it. :(

Gay Days are the first week of June, typically, nationwide. Disney World has been very active in that day for years. You wear red. It becomes a sea of red shirts for several days.

Local news are now telling folks NOT to come to give blood today. There are too many. They want people to sign up for later in the week

Reports on Fox News said he was trained. I don't know if they mean overseas in a terrorist training camp or just a well-practiced shooter with his security guard licensing.

I think his father is trying to diminish his motive Tricia and I suppose that is understandable but the FBI has said this guy was on their radar for a couple of years. Iirc 2013 and 2014. So his motive is much more than just seeing two gay guys kissing.

I do agree wholeheartedly that this is both a hate crime and a crime done by a terrorist extremist. I do think he did this because of his religious faith. He seems to have had those tendencies for years now. Radicalized I mean, since he showed up on the FBIs watch list. Imo, he did this at the urging of ISIS who called for all supporters to commit acts of violence against the infidels during Ramadan.
